Tanking Help

<p>All,</p><p>I recently came back to EQ2 and have decided that I'd like to play a tank/tank hybrid class.  It's fairly obvious to me (via the forums) that Guardian appears to be the standard MT class, but I'm not sure if this is the class for me.  In a nutshell, I don't plan on raiding, but I do plan on running instances.  Can a Bruiser/Bersker fill the roll of a MT in 6-man instances, or would you still need a Guardian?</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<span style="font-size: medium;font-family: times new roman,times;">Bruisers can tank anything except raid mobs with ease. It takes a bit more work but all the ladies love a Bruiser.</span>

<p>All fighters need tactics to maintain agro, and we're no exception.  We don't have as many AoE agro tools, so don't mash away the damage enhaners and AoE strikes.  Hold them in reserve, and unleash them if agro in a multi-group encounter moves off of you.  Other than that, hit 'em hard, hit 'em often and hit 'em when they're down; you'll be fine.</p><p>RedmouserBruiser AB</p>
