Guild Recruitment Tool

Yes it's been a while so I thought I would bring this issue to the fore again.Anybody interested iin having more options when guild recruiting?  My thought was...<img src="http://www.elementsofarcadia.org.uk/scrn/recruiter.JPG" border="0" alt="" />Naturally those who don't fit the requirements would not see us on the Guild Recruiter when they press U...Would be nice to see this tool get improvements.<i>Image edited to remove guild specific content at request of Morningside</i>

<p>I think before they should go and redesign the guild tool...make it so that it works in the first place. It is nonsense that only the top 10 or 20 largest guilds that are on  showing. If someone looks for a smaller guild they will never find it. </p><p>If we talk redesign, How about giving the guild seeker some tools to specify what he is looking for,as an example give them a search tool where they can specify what guild they are looking for such as levels,members,type of guild,basic requirements. And then set the recruiting tool for the guild up to set those requirements so it either comes up in a search or not. Larger guilds already have ample adverticement with the guild tags showing on each member.</p><p> Right now, it is a useless tool that does nothing but adverticement for the larger guilds.</p><p>J.C.</p>

<p>I think both posts have merit. Refine current recruiting window so the guild can be a bit more specific in what they are looking for, especially if they are a raiding type guild. I'm sure it would be much easier on the recruiters if they could post the specific spots they need filed, ie warden and sk vs having to do broad type descriptions. Even family based casual guilds would benefit from this as they can correct potential inbalances of classes/levels by adjusting their recruiting tool.</p><p> And yes, the person looking for a guild unfortunately only sees x number of the largest guilds rather than it scrolling thru all guilds currently recruiting. Fix the screen so they can see all guilds recruiting (which should help reduce some of the guild recruitment spamming) and give them an updated tool that they can narrow down what kind of guild they are looking for. I've had several new guild leaders ask for some pointers on how to recruit new guildmates without necessarily [Removed for Content] off the whole server as their guild doesn't show in the current guild recruitment tool.</p>

My guild would love something like that as we are a lower population guild. Only rarely do we ever get the shot to be featured on the current guild recruitment page. Not everyone likes to be in a guild of 400+ people which are generally speaking, mostly the guilds who get recruitment page time.
