I'm still having trouble getting used to playing a coercer. I have some questions about PVP that I hope someone can answer.1. Can our charm be broken by Dispel Magic? If so, do they cast it on us or on the mob to break it? (I thought an illusionist did this to me once, but maybe it was just bad timing.)2. Can we initiate PVP combat by instructing our pet to attack someone, or do we have to be attacked or take action before the pet will engage? (I had trouble trying to get my pet to attack a ranger the other day.)Thanks!

PVP with a coercer is hard but a lot of fun... i luv using their own pwr against them. Yes charm can be broken... they cast a debuff on you. But it can also just debuff other buffs and not your charm ... im not sure if it random or if it starts at the top or bottom of the maintained spell list.

Yes, you can initiate pvp with your pet, but scouts have an evad ability that can deaggro the pet off them, if it is not resisted.

You can definetly start fights by ordering your pets to attack. One fun thing I used to before I quit pvping was do a sort of aerial bomb strike thing. When I was on griffons/sokokars flying from place to place, and I saw pvp (Spam Z while on the bird) I'd jump off and spam the pet attack button. By the time my little arasai floated down, the person was at half health and it made the fight a lot easier
