<p>Recently i installed eq2 on my crap comp i was able to install it before but then i reformated and didnt bother to re install until now and i keep getting this error if any of you know how to fix this error and could tell me it would be much appreciated =)</p><p>Error is as follows : EverQuest II has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown.</p><p><verify> E:/live/eq2/framework/core/devices/src/DirectX9RenderDevice.cpp(1019): DirectX Error. (D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE)</p><p>exept all the / tilt toward the left. </p>

Will need your specs as it sounds like your video card does not render D3D V9 properly...Do a dixdiag and post pleasethanks

<p>well im a big noob when it comes to pc stuff so no idea what a dixdiag is XD but the graphic card on this pc is a Radeon 9200 told ya it was crap lol </p><p> Edit : i run Windows ME on this pc or else it cant handle the most simple and low graph of games</p>

Go to the Start button and select RUN, in the dialog box that comes up type dxdiag and see if you're running directx 9.0c. If not, it won't work. As far as I can tell on the Microsoft Directx website, Millenium Edition isn't supported by Directx 9.0c. I may be wrong, but I'm going by what MS says is the system requirements for DX9

(D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE)</p><p>exept all the / tilt toward the left. </p></blockquote><p><span style="color: #ff0066;">With out having all the necessary system information required from a sticky up top called "Read Before Posting", I am going to take a stab at this and say that AGP is not enabled under the dxdiag.  You need to go to a Windows command prompt and type dxdiag and hit the enter key.  There will be a display tab and with in the display tab is an AGP section. Enable AGP.</span></p><p><span style="color: #ff0066;">It would also do you some good to visit guru3d.com and download the catalyst classic 5.2 driver for that video card, otherwise you will see screen anolmolies with this game.</span></p>
