Sarnak Helms and armors

I was wondering if sarnaks are always going to have the same armor just in diffrent colors. it seems to me the only change is if you wear plate,leather,chain or cloth and other then that its color only. I love the race just not that every helm piece i get looks the same.

Until the new skelital system is fully in place, right now only Sarnaks use it. I seriously doupt that they will be adding unque or cool new armor models, as it is just to difficult right now, as they have to create the models by hand for each Race, Sex, and version(soga and non-soga).

<p>Sorry I should learn not post when dead tired.</p><p> What I mean is take for example the helm for the sarnaks there are 4 models only the four as far as I have seen and I have looked allot. One for each type of armor cloth, chain, leather and plate. The only difference in any of the head pieces in the game for sarnaks is color or what type of armor it is. so what I want to know is there going to be class hats for them(they would have to be made for the new skeletal system). Or will the head pieces or even all their armor only be distinguished by the 4 armor model types (cloth, chain, leather, plate) and colors they come in?  If I am still being confusing why does every piece of armor I equip LOOK THE SAME!!!</p>

And here I was so thrilled that the Sarnak headgear looked different from the buckets every other race is forced to wear...Sarnak armor looks the same because all the armor look the same for all the races.  There's minor variations around the face for plate helms, but they're all buckets.  Leather pants might have different length skirts attached, but they're all the same pants.  Don't even get the mages started on robes.  Color, texture, and sometimes trim are the only differences.Since even quest armor in Timorous Deep was going to be worn by non-Sarnak, they had to be created using the same models that were already in-game.  The basic models were adapted to fit the Sarnak body form.  We're all hoping that once the new skeletal structure becomes reality for all races, we'll have a lot more armor designs because it will be easier to model them for all the different races.  Until that day, though, get used to seeing the same thing over and over again.

and what about things like class helms? sarnak dont get them.

I have to wonder; when the skeletal revamp comes in, will all characters, regardless of gender, wear male clothes?  Cause the sarnaks have the new skeletons and the females can't ever wear the female versions of gender-specific clothing like Gis and the tailor-made dresses.  It would at least be consistent to do it to all races I guess, but it's going to be awfully awkward for all those female monks who will be running around topless!
