<p>Hello all,</p><p> Few questions for everyone. First, what is the point of our snare? It breaks itself after the first tick, not even considering if any other dots or damage is on it. How do we go about getting this change din the game? I would prefer a non damage snare that lasts a bit longer.</p><p> Feign Death- Can anyone explain why we cannot have our EQ1 FD back? Why the long refresh? Is it that unbalancing? How loud should we scream to accomplish this change?</p><p>Deity- Which one is best for necros and why?</p><p>Thanks for all your responses.</p>

It was not upgrade past 50s and seems EQ2 devs want it to die...</p><p>As for FD timer, I totally agree the current timer is way too long. 2 minutes is far more appropriate and I see this spell being upgraded in future expansions.</p><p>Bertox for deity.</p>

<p>I never understood necro snare in EQ2.  Even if it's the only spell you cast it'll usually break itself after the first tick.  I would assume that's a bug but as a new player I have no idea how long it's been like that.</p><p>Just seems like a useless spell to me.</p>

<p>So what do we do to get these issues fixed? So often, as you all now, even while rooted or stunned, the mob comes chasing after me. Happened several times yesterday alone. these spells simply are not working as intended, meaning they need to be fixed. The necro community should come to terms on what we want and approach the devs to change it.</p><p>so, if you had your way, what would darkness do for you? what would stun do for you? What would root do for you?</p><p>Be reasonable, as it must be balanced.</p>

How loud should we scream to accomplish this change?</span></i><span class="postbody">Keep in mind that our FD in EQ2 is guaranteed to take you out of combat, while in EQ1 it was only a chance to drop you out (albeit a high chance to work).  While I can understand why you would want a shorter refresh on it, I personally don't have a problem with the 5min recast timer.As for the Darkness line, SOE wanted to basically remove as much as possible the ability to kite mobs in this game (be it aggro kiting, fear kiting, etc).  It's a shame that the Darkness line (and Fear line as well) were basically pillaged out of usefulness and they are two spells that I truly miss from EQLive, as I rarely if ever use them in EQ2.  The only time Fear gets used by me is to control an add by rooting then fearing and hoping that no damage is done to it at all for the duration.  I've used Darkness a couple of times for pulling, but only as a novelty.</span>
