Hi, i just bought 4x1GB OCZ reaper ram, took out the old one(OCZ too xD), put the new one in, restart the computer... Everything works perfectly fine but for no apparent reason it happened a few time that my EQ2 crashed....Leaving me the error message: --[Critical errorApplication ran out of memory when resquesting 1048608 bytes (limit:2048 MB, current: 800MB)]I got 4GB of ram detected by windows.... not just 2GB...Followed by another error: --[Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime LibraryProgram:d:SonyEverQuest IIEverquest2.exeThis application had requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.]I'm suspecting the ram, but i don't really know how to check it... Any suggestion?I'm running it on:Windows vista premium x64 (under administrative right)processor E6700 duo core intelATI Radeon X1950 XTX4GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Reaper HPC EditionThanks

got the voltage for the RAM at 2.3v? PSU up to supplying all the power your system needs?

Tried memtest to make sure all the ram is good?

There are some hotfixes on the MS site that allow Vista and EQ2 play nicer together. Best place to find them is linked on the nvidia driver site.

This is a known EQ2-Error, check out this thread:http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=364955For me it worked after lowering the texture resolution.

You have one hell of a lot of services running with Vista. DWM, [Removed for Content] little sidebar, transparencies etc all use one hell of a chunk of memory.
