What good is unwavering resolve when...?

I was hoping someone could shed some light on Unwavering Resolve's usefulness.  I am going down the STR tree to get Steadfast, and I was wondering what good gaining 40 or so Focus skill from Unwavering Resolve is when I'm going to be uninterruptable when I get Steadfast.  Sure, the 8% health is nice, but it doesn't do anything for my DPS.  I guess the main question here is, what good is +focus skill when I have Steadfast?

I didn't get it and instead bumped the other abilities up further.  It really seems redundant with that final ability.
