Ok, so recently my crafting alt has started lvling again, he is indeed NOT My main and thus much lower lvl... however it seems painfully difficult to find ppl to craft things on pvp server (especially the [Removed for Content] mirror).Ok so I like to be self sufficient and all... is there any possible way i can have one made by my alt for my main once i get the faction... it will severely [Removed for Content] me off if b/c my crafter and main are on the same account i can't craft myself a mirror.... that would really suck and I think SOE needs to rethink the required commissions thing!!11!

you cannot craft it for your alts.

No, the mirror is no-trade and must be comissioned. You cant craft it for alts on the same account.

ok, that being said...SOE could you please fix this BS that forces me to rely on other ppl on a server that most of the crafters are rather lazy as opposed to PvE servers?!??!I have been looking for DAYS and not one person can craft a mirror... and i seem to be the only crafter i know trying to be able to..BS on the fact that my alt should be able to craft a mirror yet my main cannot have one b/c of the no-trade BS... who cares if they sell them on the broker.. just let me have my mirror please!!!!

Well, heres your challenge.Personally, I failed at PvP life. Oh, it wasnt the PvP or the mobs or anything it was the community mindset there. You see I didnt like the drama, the raging teen hormones that permeated every facet of the game there, the gank squads, the general lack of helpful communities even within your own city areas, etc. I deleted my toon on Nagafen and havent gone back to PvP again. Just not my style, sounds like you are running into some of that as well.Nothing needs to change with the mirror or the tradeskill epic questline either which also requires working with other players. Perhaps you need to change your toon's server. Just a thought...

If they are hanging out in the TS instance ask them if they can make the mirror (I used 80 because if you have ally faction and are a writ grinder you are probably a top end crafter, you can use 75-80 though as you have to be 75 to make the mirror in the first place). Tell them you have all the parts (so make sure you do) and you will come to them if they can make you one. Most of the time someone sitting in front of a crafting station that doesnt have to do anything or go anywhere will help you out.Sending a channel blast that says "can someone make a mirror for me please" gets avoided. You havent done any work so far and will likely ask me to do more of it for you. You also havent told me how much you are willing to pay which will likely not be much. So yeah, much more unlikely to happen unless you send a channel blast that says "who can make an aa mirror for me, paying 5p" etc.

But I don't think so.

It's going to be months before I get my characters (nine now, one in each tradeskill) leveled up enough to pursue these crafting goals - and yes, I'm a typical example of someone who solos a lot and tries to be as independant as possible (although I have no problem offering to help others, or stepping up to help when asked to do so).

By that time I'm sure there will still be folks floating around that I might be able to hook up with, but (setting aside the fact that I'll have to step outside my own style of play to do so) I'm sure there won't be nearly as many, and that the profiteers will be strongly represented among them.

There's more than one issue at work here. I'm looking forward to it, in fact.

I really don't have much of a problem with taking a longer road or spending more time, perhaps, than I otherwise would to get things done - it's one of the costs of doing things the way I do them. And I'm not asking that anything be made 'easier' - only that the process not become bogged down to the point where it's a flaming pain in the hind parts to complete - and thus, (arguably) more trouble than it's worth. This is a point that's different for each individual, true enough, but I see enough people expressing their concerns about it (commissioned crafting as a quest requirement) that I believe SOE really should have given the matter more consideration before implementing it. That's all I'm saying.

In the mean time, I'm going forward with my plan to make the system work for me the same way it works for eveyone else. Before I ask anyone for help, everyone on my server will know that all nine of my tradeskillers are there for them. I've got no problem with being a contributing member of the community I'm part of, really - I just don't want to have turn my game upside down to do it.

For those looking to have mirrors made, both Slizz, in Scale Yard, FP; and Celestina in Qeynos can make them for you. I do not charge a fee and only ask that you reimburse me for the fuel costs (10g). I am on unrest server.Mirrors can be made by alts if you have two computers.I hope that helps some of you. You can also check the boards for those who can make the mirrors.
