I know this was supposed to be a short event, but in the future would it be possible to run events for about two weeks instead of one. I had the misfortune of today being my first day off sense the event went live. I worked over 55 hours in the last 6 days, and I am sure there are other people who were not able to experience as much of the event as they'd like due to other real life obligations.

Not to mention being unable to run the Hearts a Flutter contest because nobody else would sign up.

I was very disappointed in the lack of interest in all this. I for one am glad the devs work on these events, seems there are fewer and fewer people feeling the same though.

Thanks to the team for great fun this Erollisi Day celebration. Handing roses to complete strangers was fun. The bears are sweet and cuddly and the love notes trite and true ))As for running the race? I was burned out on that game a few years back...very tired of the same person(s) in the top score position(s) day after day. Unfortunately the same with the Days of the Dead race....same people, same scores, very deflating and defeating. However! The rest of the celebration was a gas and totally appreciated by all my alts.

I must agree. I didn't even bother with the Hearts a'flutter contest this year because either a) there'd be no one else to race against, or b) someone with some secret technique would completely blow everyone else out of the water, just as happened with the candy cane contest.I heard someone report seeing a score of 60. 60 harvests in 5 minutes is one harvest every 5 seconds. Harvesting time is 5 seconds. You do the math.Powers &8^]

I would have liked it longer, but hey what does my opinion count?

I know they cut Frostfell shorter this time. Don't remember Erolissi Day being so long last time.

The high score on the Bazaar changed over the course of the event. First day it was someone with 60, then that was replaced by someone with 61. The last day I looked at it someone new had 73.

73 harvests in 5 minutes? Its pretty hard to believe that can be legitimate.

Southwitch wrote:

73 harvests in 5 minutes? My best was 56 last year. And, that was on a PvP server which can be a bit more tricky. But, after reading this thread last night I decided to see what I could do in a fresh spawn of nodes in the Common Lands. I was able to pull 82 in 5 minutes. That was with maxed out speed and harvesting tools and nobody else to compete for nodes with. So, its possible by legitimate means.

The race uses/used the *collecting* skill, which is not affected by harvesting tools.
