Client Transfer Desktop to Laptop. ?

I am getting a new laptop, and want to install EQ2on it. I do not want to go through the download marathon I had when I installed it on my desktop unit.I understand I can transfer the client from one to the other, my question is this.How?

Basically you need to do 3 things to make it so you'll have no download when you start the new computer.Go to <a href="http://www.everquest2.com/install" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.everquest2.com/install</a> and download and save that launchpad install file.  This file will set up the file directories and make sure all the paths are proper.Go to C:Program FilesSonyIn here there will be a few folders, the two you want are Station and Everquest II.  Copy both of those folders and everything in them to a back up location, those are the files you need.When you get the new machine, use the install program you downloaded first, this will install the games launchpad and put a shortcut on the desktop.Now go back to C:Program FilesSony and put the Station and Everquest II folders in there, overwriting any files it asks you to.When the copy is done, use the icon on the desktop to play the game, and it will be just like your other machine.
