<p>I have just upgraded from the free trial where I was playing on the Unrest server with my friend. After buying a boxed game I decided to make a second character, but I am not offered the same server as I was on before on the trial. As this is where my friend is playing I obviously want to play on the same server. Why can I not select the Unrest server to play on with my new character. I am playing in the UK and she is in the US, if that has any bearing on the matter. If so is there a way to change the servers I am offered?. At present I am only offered Splitjaw or Runnyeye servers to play on, but I have no wish to play on either of these. </p><p> Thank you in advance for your help</p>

If you only have Runnyeye and Splitpaw offered then you have the English:EU region selected. You need to switch over to English:US. The next time you launch EQ2, look at your Accept/Decline EULA screen. In the top right corner there should be a drop-down menu with English:EU already listed. Change to English:US and you'll be set after logon.
