Thoughts on warlock after i betrayed to one for 20 levels.

<p>ok, i tried a warlock, from 60 too 72, i freaking hated it.</p><p>ok. warlocks are good class, but they need to much prefight setup to max out their damage, and since i pvp alot you'd think they would be better with focus casting, imho i like wizard more, maybe it is because i'm a much better wizard then ever i was a warlock, dunno.</p><p>Warlocks, the slow casting time annoyed me, so easy to to interupt, and hardly any counters for fast pase pvp, most fights are spam focus casting then manna shield and spam nukes, wizard use much more cunning , they need more thought, planing, and they have a counter for most pvp situations.</p><p>look at this way, imho, any class that can't pvp well without an aa line skill is not good pvp class.</p><p>  warlocks cant pvp with out focus casting or manna shield, wizards can.</p><p>this is only what i think, there are some badass warlocks out there, i wasn't one of them, i never lost a 1 on 1 fight as a wizard, i couldn't win one as a warlock. their play style was too newbish for me, i couldn't get used to it.</p><p>as i say, these are my thoughts on the warlock class nothing more.</p>

i am not on a PvP server, but i betrayed to warlock at 43, and betrayed back to wiz at 50.  I found i had a harder time soloing unless the mob was an encounter.  Devastation was an awesome spell, i loved using it when i could.  the problem for me was getting groups was much more difficult, and the groups i did get did not fight encounters.  warlocks can do decent single target damage.. but there is nothing like tearing aways huge chunks of a mobs HP.  had i played as a lock from the beginning, my opinion might be different.

I have both warlock and wizzie on pvp...and yes the wizzie is a blast (pardon the pun) especially small groups and solo. (it's what they were designed for).</p><p>in group v group or raid v raid - with tanks and healers who know what they are doing however, I'll take the warlock (it's what they were designed for).</p><p>peace</p><p>g</p>
