Hi, this has probably been answered time and time again. I am having difficulty locating any such post though. I'm admittedly a remedial poster/searcher. I have been dabbling in signatures for a while now, and no matter how much I do to try and improve them, it seems the improvement is out of my grasp. After having searched and read in these forums and others, and various online blogs I've decided to see if maybe some of you can help. While I may discover that it is a lack of ability on my part, I'm thinking it may be my software which has very limited capeabilities. Can any of you wonderful signature makers reccommend a good photo/paint program to use for sig making that won't cost an arm and a leg or two? I priced photoshop and almost cried when I found that it costs at least 200 dollars? Wow. Now, I enjoy making signatures and dabbling with graphics, but my hobby will not justify spending that much on a program. So now that I've rambled on and on, would any of you here happen to know of a good, functional program that is either free or at least cheap? I currently use Ultimate Paint and its a fantastic program, but lacks functionality for this type of thing. Thanks and *hugs*

That question gets asked enough that it really should be a sticky but here's a link to a lively thread on the subjectWhat Program for making signatures?

The [Removed for Content] is your answer (free, but nasty complex interface though), that or paintshop pro (not sure what that costs now).
