Pls. add an option to hide our shield

My mystic always equips a spear and a shield. Firstly,when I equip these gears on my back, the spear imbues the shield. Secondly, all the priests class shields look very ugly, so I suggest to add an option fuction to hide my shield which like hiding our helm and cloak.

I rather like not having my shield show. It falls at an awkward place on my character's back and looks flat out funky. However, I also don't like covering her up with the capes that SOE claims to be "cloaks" either. <shrugs> I unequip her shield when I'm not fighting.

(( I remember when i first played EQ2, very first 5 minutes.I was on the Boat with the Cap'n.I got my first weapon, a gnarled club type thing. So i equipped it. I WAS HORRIFIED!! A graphics Glitch!!!It was floating upside-down next to my hip instead of in my hand!!!I immediately filled out a bug report, but I had high hopes, EQ2 was still very new, im sure they had some bugs to work out.SUre enough I later realised my weapon returned to this position at my hip whenever combat had ended.(Yeah I was used to EQ1 where you couldnt 'holdster' a weapon, so when it didnt appear in my hand I was freaking out LOL!)(err.. carry on then <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I agree, I am tired too of wearing cloaks just to hide the ugly bulky shield I got. I just want to wear a plain robe without a cloak, I don't like the colors of most of the cloaks./hide shield please, Sony <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

<p>thats not what he means. Ranged weapons = display your bow. The OP wants the shield to be hidden but his 1h melee spear to show.</p>
