are so much larger than the playable iksars from FP. why?..i mean not ALL are so huge but take note of some of the guards in Riliss, i was there with my iksar last week and i swear some of the ordinary troops there were 3 feet taller than my iksar and he was on a nightmare ...i can understand if some epic or heroic named was a bit larger , but not some nameless npc ...scaling sizes are way, way off here.

PC Iksar are as big as they were in EQ1.  The size of the NPC Iksar is pretty flipping absurd.  If Venril were able to change the size of an entire race I'd think he would have done it when he was first in charge.

it seems to be a common pattern in MMO games.Developer 1: "Hey, this is a mob that's gonna be pretty tough to kill, not so much as a boss, but just stronger than a normal mob of it's level. It uses a PC model too, but should we give it awesome armor looks or something so players know it's harder?"Developer 2: " LET'S JUST MAKE IT BIGGER AND GIVE IT LEVEL 5 ARMOR LAWL"And that's how Cpt. Steroids is born.

Steroids is born.</blockquote>In this case though, it's just the leader of Rillis, who has no loot table other than the normal junk every other named mob gives.
