I love holiday events, but it's kinda sad that we have to kill sentient beings for the candies. I mean it's obvious that some other iksar gave her that heart with the little message, "Fear My Love". I mean come on. We just killed somebody's loved one for a piece a candy. We should all be ashamed.

I'm sorry Mr. Froglok. I killed your beloved Erollisi mate, but she left you this message, "Ur My Knight!" I apologize that that's all you have of her...oh wait...no you dont cuz I had this nice new Chaise Lounger made for my room and the only way I can save you from torment is to murder you also for the candy she gave you and make a matching pillow to go with it...lol

That's just sad.

And here I was wishing I had bothered to level up my warlock so I could efficiently "harvest" enough notes and candy for a full set of pillows.

It is a bit gruesome I suppose, but is it better to run around with random body parts in your bags? I actually prefer the crafting use to the glut of useless notes and candy we had last year. I had tons of them hoarded until I figured out they weren't good for anything but vendor fodder. At least now I can use them to whip up some nifty items. (The chaise lounges are awesome, btw.)

And just to toss in a cliche... "you only hurt the ones you love".

To help me sleep better at night, I tell myself, well they attacked me first... It was self-defense!

I wanna know where I can find an Arasai to kill. Every player race has a candy or love note, and I don't think I've ever seen an Arasai who wasn't a player or quest NPC.

Try Neriak Down Under (the crafting area). There's a particular arasai that wanders around while constantly asking "does this come in black?" all the time. It'd almost be a public service to give her a vacation. She has no apparent purpose other than "flavor" as far as I know. There may be other wandering arasai npcs. The stationary ones tend to be vendors or quest related though.

*Edit: I just remembered there may also be some courtier npcs in/around the palace grounds. Most are DE, but I think I remember arasai in a large round room. Sort of like a courtyard surrounding another building. (man it's been a while since I ran around Neriak. )

"Have you ever seen a gnoll before?"

New recipe, "Ironforge Pillowcase". Main ingredient, Nathan Ironforge.

I find it more disturbing Orcs have love notes

I also realize we are to be politically correct but the quest in EFP to woo a Dwarf - as I am a male toon.

I thought it was Butcherblock not Brokeback Mountains.

Maybe they'll update the Brell Day events to allow a Nathan dunking booth or somesuch. I'd also vote for the annoying npcs in Neriak Down Under that keep muttering about prices and color selections.
