<p>and to those that bought the first one?</p><p>I remember everyone was complaining on the price of the first one; I believe it was like 19.00 including shipping or something for the first issue and people were upset that it seemed like 90% of the price they were paying just to get into the RoK beta</p><p>So tell me those that already ordered the first one do we still have to pre order for the 2nd one? Do we get some discount if we already ordered the first one?</p><p>Can you say if there will be even more issues to come?</p><p>Again 19.00 for 1 single magazine is very very pricy and thats the price I believe we people paid for issue #1</p>

We as a community do SOE a huge favor by testing and providing invaluable feeback; as such we should not be expected to compensate you anything for your use of our time and effort.7 months have passed since I purchased a "subscription" and only now do you mention that it was a 1-Issue subscription. I would like to understand your side of this and where the value is for me to buy another issue. I hate to sound cynical, but did you guys remember to make the loot cards packed with issue #2 desirable enough to pay the piper?I'm often defend SOE because I realize how very hard it is to put together a product like EQ2; I feel very disappointed by this.

<p>One mag subscription? Are you serious? Well, that's a load of crap. They should even't be numbered or called an issue like a normal magazine subscription is. Count me out.</p><p>Though that painting is pretty nice. And why is it EQ people get better stuff? Bah ...</p>

<p>Not sure where anyone got the impression that the $15-19 (whatever it was?) was a "subscription."</p><p>It's a full-color, glossy magazine full of content instead of ads. How much do you think normal off-the-rack magazines like People or TV Guide would cost if they didn't sell advertising? Only slightly less than EQuinox, and that's because EQuinox's actual printing is still better quality =P</p>
In no way whatsoever did it say it was a subscription to the mag..cant think where people got that idea from to be honestJust glad another ones on the way <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Ok here it is:</p><p>17.89 is how much Issue #1 ran me including shipping of course within the US; well actually the magazine was shipped from UK</p><p>True it didnt state Subscription but I also believe that the people who made the magazine didnt know how it was gonna fan out; this is issue #2; appaerently #1 did well afterall.</p><p>But 17.89?? Yes I know its glossy but if I remember right I paid around that price for a quarterly subscription to CodeMasters RF Online's Magazine, granted they only made 2 but still lol</p><p>A person would just think that if they are paying 17.89 that should constitute as at least 3 issues. 66 pages for issue #1</p><p>Okay anyways lets put this aside and I think instead lets talk Subscriptions.</p><p>Yes it says 12.99 US dollars on the cover issue of #1 which means that would be the newsstand price. However most companies will offer a great incentive; they say like 24.95 for 6 issues; or even 3 issues; I'll settle with that; thats about 8.00 an issue and 4 dollars off the newsstand price.</p><p>But perhaps SOE or whoever still doesnt know if this magazine will sell</p><p>Well let me say I'd much rather pay 29.99 for 6 to 12 issues than pay 18 dollars an issue that its released every 3 months (or so). Actually I paid 17.89 in September and if I were to get issue #2 it may be charged March so thats 6 months so in doing thats 36 dollars for 2 issues; bi annually; does that sound logical LOL</p><p>Seeking insight is all</p>

My friend owns a magazine that's distributed nationwide. She does two separate prints. One for regular subscribers and magazine racks. $6.95/issues and includes advertisements. She also does an Ad-Free issue which she prints fewer of each run which go for about $16.95/issue.There's no advertising to fund the cost of printing in the EQuinox.

Though I think it would well if it even was a mag a quarter with a set price.

<p>Wooo hooo!!! <dashes off to order two-copies></p><p>Now, how does one go about getting a guild ad put into EQuinox? Last time they had these beautiful full page guild recruitment ads... I know we would gladly pay a little extra to have one placed in the content.</p>

If I remember right SOE doesn't make this mag, some publishing company overseas (England?) does.

Thumbs up for EQuinox. Fun articles getting funnier, inside info getting crunchier. One question though: HOW on earth do I redeem? With mag #2 came a sheet of paper that says "Pre-order gift: To claim your exclusive Legends of Norrath rewards, simply enter this code into your Station Account subscription." Got code, check. Logged into the site account.station.sony.com, check. But then: the redeem page requires me to select game. Try looking for "Legends of Norrath", no dice. And yes, I tried "Everquest II" only to get an error message "activation code is not valid."Stumped here. Tried the "Help" page but I'm sad to say I can't make heads or tails of it.Any ideas out there what I missed?

Even tried the "Game Time Card" checkbox, no dice. One thing interesting to note is that the code is alphanumeric CASE SENSITIVE but the account thing is spewing it back out as all caps (ie thus case insensitive) after it error's on the typed in version. Makes me wonder if that may be an issue with the new account manager...

To redeem your EQuinox Key follow these steps:1. Open Legends of Norrath 2. Go to a Casual Games lobby.3. In the chat, type: /redeem4. A Redeem window should pop up.5. Enter your code exactly as you see it, with the dashes. 6. You will receive a delivery window with your EQuinox Pack.

I ordered two copies of EQuinox to get a pre-order bonus for both of my accounts but only received one sheet with a code on it. Is this the way it was supposed to work? If not, how do I go about getting my second code? I was out of town when the mag come in so just got a chance to open it up yesterday.

<p>Necro bump!</p><p>Any chance at all of an EQuinox #3 coming out? Ever?</p><p>I could see the mag wasn't a mainstream product, so I can understand if it didn't make its startup money. Still would be nice to see it continue in some form- perhaps a pdf? Mind you I loved the hardcopy.</p>
