Sorry, but missed something while doing the epic quest for Brigands.

What I would like to know is, what is going on??

This is what I remember, we get a wanted poster, and find someone who knows the details, they tell us who to kill and we do it, we come back, and get sent to do some errands.

So what exactly is going on, we are hired Merc's now? Not a problem with that, but why, and where is the lore.

Anyone knows? Any links to the detail?

Some of the classes get a book at some point in the quest that actually gives some lore. Brigands didn't exist in EQlive, so they something new to go off of, even though mercenaries and thugs is basicly what a brigand is.

Maybe you'll get a book later on or something.

The quest starts out as the brigand being the standard mercenary, yes! You care only about gold and do not really care how you get it! This of course leads you into the adventure of making money and doing what ever dastardly deeds need to be done. Along the way you will learn of Licent, a once powerful rogue from long past. Licent was a worshipper of Ullkorruuk, The Arch Traitor, The Lady of Insurrection, and The Demigoddess of Treachery! He has hidden his prize weapon, Havoc, in a dimensional pocket and was careful to leave only faint bread crumb trails to find it. Only the one who proves them self worthy to the High Priestess of Ullkorruuk will find the path to unlocking Havoc from its hiding place and learning to make it even more powerful then when Licent himself wielded it.

What ensues can only be described as lies, deceit, treachery and murder! You will do what ever it takes to get what you want!

You aim to misbehave!

On a side note, I find it interesting that there are apparently "lesser" deities. That explains the apparent "holes" in the Norrathian pantheon, when you're just considering the big-names like Mithaniel Marr, Rallos Zek, et al.Anyway, as a Pirate-Brigand, I look forward to swipin' that fancy blade for meself!"Take all ye can, give nothin' back!"

Ullkorruuk has always been one of my favorite deities for some reason, I'm really glad to see her mentioned so much in Kunark. Not only is she related to this epic, but there's also a nice buckler from Maiden's with her name on it that I can't wait to get either for my fury main or eventually my defiler alt Thank you SOE for mentioning her a bit more!

Sounds like a good read lore-wise.

You argue something thats not even fit to dispute. If you can find evidence a brig or swash is a paladin or based off some new hybrid class then you can make a case.
