In transferring servers the Profile for Shadowflame of Oasis did not move to Shadowlings of Guk all completely. This happened in the passed where my server and world wide disc's were to follow with my charatcer but did not. He is missing something like 700+ disco's. Please reinstate his correct info. thanks

Ummm.... tried contacting Customer Services?I don't really know what you expect the playerbase to do about this, and it's not something the Dev's would discuss in open forums either...

I could be wrong as I have not been coming to these boards as I kinda gave up on them months back, but i thought the idea of this section of forums was for the player base to relay areas of the EQ2players board that were either in error or needed help. The ability for those in charge of the EQ2player.com to see the wants, needs, and fixes for their product.

This is basically an ongoing issue as this post from JUNE 2007 was the same issue and was resolved via this board. Last time it took 40 days to fix and was told the problems were fixed.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=369436

Are you referring to Server Discos or World wide discos?
Hellswrath
02-24-2008, 06:39 AM
the worldwide. The link he put referenced where you last dealt with him and made very clear server stats and discos will not be retained. He's just looking to get his worldwide ones reinstated again.

Hmm can I get a link to your profile? Shadowflame on Oasis is a level 1 Wizard.

Just to be clear here.

Shadowflame of Everfrost moved to Shadowflame of Oasis, where almost everything on EQ2player was reset. After a bit of looking into a uberlilgnome was able to find the problem and restore some of my personal stats onto EQ2player like WW discos and Server Disco but NOT my WW highest magical hit. Since then I have moved Shadowflame of Oasis to Shadowlings of Guk (name was taken) and it happened again. The issue that was there before seems to still be happening.

... I am looking to get the WW Disco's and Server Disco's reinstated please .

So basically calling CS a couple more times hasn't helped any so far. But maybe...just maybe June will be the lucky month because May, April, March and February were not lucky at all and apparently not enough time to address and fix this issue.

ffs 100+ days

It seems that server discoveries, worldwide and server side do not transfer at all when you change servers. Since others on your new server have either made those discoveries, or the discoveries have not been made yet on Guk, transferring discoveries from your old server would be misleading and inaccurate. This would be one of the drawbacks from a server transfer.

Now you are telling me that the SOE character transfer page is Wrong now in what it is telling you when you transfer and has been wrong always OR you are wrong now and it took from summer of last year to Feb of this year to tell me. I am even at more of a lose now.

I just reread the transfer details twice.

https://secure.station.sony.com/eq2...ransferOrder.m? ses s ionSer verI D=XTHl8.mgGpQi728O

Also reread all my old emails from a year ago when this happened the first time along with the thread that links from this years post to last years issues. Your above statement is wrong on worldwide disco. That I am 100% sure of. The reinstatement of my server wide disco was done because i had to wait for more then 40+ days for the issue to be fixed. Also knowing that when the server side discos were placed in the ranking bar they show up as My old name with My old Guild/server linked to them I understand that it can be done and it was done before since I had to wait. like I had stated before 40+ days for someone to actually do something to put it in front of the guy who fixes this stuff and BTW it was fixed in 1 afternoon.

Now this thread started back in FEB of 2008 for the issue. Its July of 2008. . . . 6 months. A tad more then lasts years record speed of getting an issue fixed in 40days when it comes to EQ2players.com. We are at like ~150 days. Basically in 150 day in all truth no one really at SoE has done anything on this issue, short of telling me to call CS, or they escalated this to the Right person who will be in connect with me in No less then 72 hours(never happened), or telling me it cannt be done when the details on the subject werent read or understood.

Its the little details and the way SoE deals with problems that most companies could never even dream of getting away with that shows me no one there does their job with any sort of pride let alone trying to take care of the customer when SOE is as fault of providing a subpar/broken product.

I cancelled one account because an issue was not fixed.

Can this MODs manager please get this 6 month old petition/forum/CS phone call fixed ASAP

Called CS again to verify that the server disco's should have followed me and they were. Now August and this issues is still ongoing. Does anyone at SOE even feel the least bit sadened or even a bit of ownership to take control and fit an issue that could very well be fixed in a few minutes if attempted? Where is the pride

I don't think they truely understand how the service worksI have transferred toons from Splitpaw/Najena to Butcherblock and then moved them on to Antonia Bayle. Some of them have those Adventure/Tradeskill stats that supposedly you don't get retained...Go figure?

TSR-TrevorG wrote:
Server discoveries do not follow you unfortunatley.
No they don't, but the OP is asking about his world-wide discoveries. From the character transfer service:With regard to your character's information that is maintained on www.eq2players.com, please be aware that transferred characters will not retain statistical information accrued prior to the time of transfer for any of the following categories: adventure leveling history, tradeskill leveling history, server and serverwide ranking in relation to adventure or tradeskill leveling history, server-specific item discoveries and guild information. Items first discovered by your character within the entire game of EverQuest II will be preserved.Either the OP should get his worldwide discoveries or somebody should just fess-up that the information on the character transfer service is wrong (and actually fix it)

for the love of god... I am going to recap this entire thread to clearly explain this to you TSR-TrevorG

There is an on-going problem where when transferring a character and mostly when the name changes that the information that is SUPPOSED to carry over doesnt. This issue was brought up last summer (2007) by me and many others and was said to have been fixed but was not. What was done was after 40+days of explaining it and working with Gninja that the missing information was restored.

... (This information taken form the SOE character transfer site itself. : With regard to your character's information that is maintained on http://www.eq2players.com,/ please be aware that transferred characters will not retain statistical information accrued prior to the time of transfer for any of the following categories: adventure leveling history, tradeskill leveling history, server and serverwide ranking in relation to adventure or tradeskill leveling history, server-specific item discoveries and guild information. Items first discovered by your character within the entire game of EverQuest II will be preserved.

Now basically I paid you 50 dollars US to transfer my charater with the agreed information to another server. I paid you in full but yet still didn't receive all the services paid for.

After waiting 40+ days for SoE to understand, find and what i was told fix the problem premenantly I was also granted my SERVER DISCOs restored for having to wait so long.

____________________________

Now since then I have moved the character again and what I was assured to be a fixed problem has occured again. I proceeded to post here on these thread for a fix again as instructed before, Called the CSR/Tech support of SoE more then a dozen times and waited for more then 6 months now for it to be fixed. I have talked to Gninja via email and the SoE staff via phones and was told that this issue was placed on the desk of the person responible to get it fixed and in addition they will again restore my SERVER DISCOs that are not normally done with the transfer along with restoring my WORLD WIDE HIGHEST MAGICAL HIT for having to endure this 6 month issue and staying a customer. .... I was also offered 1 week of free subscribtion time but that was an insult and I told them to keep the 3 or 4 dollars.

Now what I am asking the FORUM MODs of EQ2PLAYER issues is to HONOR the agreement where you have already taken the 50 dollars from me and get the information restored to be correct along with the promises made, but first I need you to understand that WORLD WIDE DISCOs do transfer with account and get it get. REALLY fixed so this stop happening. Then get my issues resolved with much haste as 6 months of waiting is horrible customer service for any/all industries even MMORPGs.

if by chance you still have any question please feel free to ask as I am trying may hardest to get this resolved.

Trevor -

Have you read and understand this thread yet? You understand that when I paid SOE to transfer my character with its WORLD WIDE DISCOs from one server to another that the WORLD WIDE DISCO didn't carry over? This thread is from FEB...... welcome to SEPT.

READ THIS FORUM and please please please try and understand that with the transferring of server that WORLD WIDE DISCO carry over with the character. You took my 50 dollars and you did not supply the carrying over of the infomation.

Its been over 6 months and its not fixed nor do I even have a mod that understands the services offered by SOE to understand the issue and at least response to it.

180 days+ get this issue fixed

Errrrr...

Plus the $2.99 a month for EQ2Player upgrades from Feb until Sept

and again this is all basically legal contracts that your company enforces once I click the "AGREE" button. Changing your mind 6 months later in a contract doesnt actually mean much. Also been told by you CSR its still going to be fixed via "stars" something or another and via the call in support. So really no one there has any idea what the right hand is doing from the left hand.

Either Fix it or give me all the money back that was spent on a service not given.
