Signature now in maybe... German?

I dont know if this is the correct area to ask... but why would my crappy eq2 signature suddenly change to ummmm maybe its german?  My profile is good and says English language and I copied the code once again, to no avail - it shows in german in the profile page also?  Any help appreciated.
