Hi all, i recently started up my own team, my tank is a bruiser, my healer a fury and a i added a wiz for dps. Now i dont want to change any of these 3 main toons, but what im looking to do is add a 4th character to my group. Now i need something that requires very little attention, i spend most my time cycling dps on my wiz and heals on the fury. So with that in mind i was thinking of adding a 4th character to the mix but im really not sure on what to add, a dirge comes to mind along with a illusionist, i dont really know much about eaither class so any help or a totally diffrent class altogether would be great, im mainly looking for advice on what would fit this group best. To give a little info i never have problems with aggro controll so that isnt a big deal when selecting the 4th class. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Depends on what you're going to be killing i guess. It would be nice to have a dirge because they give great defensive as well as some offensive buffs to your bruiser, which would let it stay alive longer, as well as keep agro better through improved dps and a static agro increaser buff. The troub on the other hand would up your wizard and your fury's dps, as well as decrease the amount of hate that they both accumulate, making it so they don't rip agro. So: if you want the bruiser to be more survivable, as well as upyour groups dps, get a dirge. If you want the max dps you can get from your group, and think your tank can survive long enough for the increased dps to burn down a mob, as well as keep agro, get a troub.

Having the bruiser as a tank in a 4 box is gonna be tough. I would go plate all the way.

You should also consider a Necro. It will add more DPS then the Troub, it has a Rez and Heal like the Dirge. Send in the pet and the DPS will keep coming when your busy. Dirge is good also as it will make the tank more surviable.

thanks for all the quick reply's, now im using a bruiser as a tank mainly because it was my first toon a couple of months ago and he just mentors down from 58, if i switched him out for a plate tank what advantages does a guardian have over a sk? does a guardian require alot of ca's to keep agrro?? what about sk's? i find the bruiser right now is a great tank, but is that only because hes mentored down? i also have a defiler on the same account as my fury, whould it be a better healer for a plate class? i find the fury's aa tree is pretty much garbage for healing, am i missing something here? most of the aa stuff seems to be for spell dps. The one advantage to the bruiser is i can fd on bad pulls or on wipes and just rez the fury back after the fd. what tank class would you add?

Dirge or Illusionist.

Personally I would go dirge... what it can offer you in terms of maintaining aggro or boosting defense or dps buffs is pretty huge. Debuffs are pretty fantstic also... if you mash STR down, +slashing down, and blade chimes on each difficult mob you encounter... just 3 key strokes... that's all you need to make the Dirge a VERY useful addition. (well that and recasting the buffs when you die...) it's a very low effort for high returns class. A GOOD dirge... does ALOT more... but we are talking a 4th box.

I have been boxing for a long time and It just dawned on me why I added my first Troub to my boxed group. It was for Tracking, big help when your questing looking for names etc. I suggest the Dirge, I betrayed my Troub to a Dirge and it worked much better, now I use mostly plate tanks but I think you will see the same thing with a Bruiser.
