Bring him Bax quest

I've been trying to do this quest for over a day now, and everytime i go behind the waterfall in KJ Bax is never there. Waited an hour for him at one point and he just didn't show. Any ideas? or is this quest bugged

I did that quest 1-2 weeks ago without a problem. Could it be that your going to the wrong waterfall? being that there is two of them. If not then SOE probably took him down for some reason like they did with the banker in Danak Shipyard(JW) awhile back.

It seems there are a bunch of NPC's that have taken the week off, both epic and non-epic related. I haven't read anyting about why or if the dev's are looking at it. I do know that one guy on my server has been offering 50pp to anyone who can get him into a second instance of the Fens, so he can get his update. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/136dd33cba83140c7ce38db096d05aed.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

I've heard from other people that some people have him follow them around like a pet and he doesn't return to roost.

I did this quest last night and had no problems.  Maybe you should double check you are going to the correct location.  And yes there is a point he does follow you, but he immediately returned after I did the quest.  I ended up helping a friend with that quest again and he was back at his spot.

tried this again just now, waited 30mins for bax incase he was wondering with someone else, and he never showered. Am behind the waterfall marked on eq2map so i'im sure i'm in the right place

Still broken. I did this with one or 2 toons early in expansion, i've been trying for weeks now to do it with another but Bax seems gone for good.

Just finished the quest last week on AB, so the quest is not broken. Make sure you are going behind the correct waterfall (there are two waterfalls in that area, one has the breakable wall for the guardian epic quest and the other is where Bax hangs out).

There was a problem with some quest NPCs not respawning a month or so ago when the OP was written, but it was resolved pretty quickly.

I completed this quest last week with no problems.  I was able to walk out of the water fall down the river a little bit and saw the Chokodi to kill, he spawned immediately and although Bax took a little while to talk back, the pathing seemed to have no problems.-E

Just did this quest last night (22 March) on Mistmoore without a problem.
