I find it not bad except for that ugly piece of crap scorpion tail ... what do they smoke or snort at SOE? i mean to make a weapon that ugly and go through with it you have to be stupid or stoned

The OP isnt talking about the looks of the weapon guys. Dur. Until i see the mythical version I won't say anything, but our fabled version sucks compared to the monks fabled version. I'd kill for theirs.

I am not talking about the looks. Our fabled version procs threat + damage when we attack mobs from front and just damage when we attack from behind. The proc damage from behind is the exactly same damage as monk's fabled proc, but the monk's proc increases 8% melee double attack besides the damage.Bruiser procWhen Equipped:

On a successful melee attack this spell has a chance to cast Strike of Anger on target of attack. Theirs procs crits too whereas ours procs DA. Monk version is better imo. Having said that, I quite like the look.
Wasn't that enamored with the look of it before but once I started swinging it around I liked it quite a bit. The scorpion tail looks akward at first but the way it coils and flows with your movements as your fighting is fantastic.

~Raithan

Sure I'd like it to add + hit% group/raid wide, or something that helps the group. Maybe even a +riposte%. Iin all reality, Bruisers are selfish sons o' [Ninja'd by Faarwolf]. Also although we cant hold aggro as well as a plate tank class, the main issue is the lack of AC which is compensated in the Monk Mythical. I saw that and I promise you I almost quit. I doesnt matter how well you hold aggro if thing knock ya down in a few hits. I still dont think SOE is using their heads when it comes to this class. I like the +avoidance the Bruiser epic gives, but it should have been a lot more than 10 tbh.

I was lookin forward to coming back to eq2 and working on my epic. But since I seen the bruiser one I changed my mind. The effect on it is fine, I dont mind that part. But the graphic is horrible.I did login and see the fabled version in-game. Wow, I know SOE is trying to be original here, and I generally adore their art team's work. But this thing looks like they're trying to be "too" original. I'd sort of be embarrassed to use it =/

Also the lack of any significant dps upgrade makes this weapon a good situational weapon but likely will be replaced alot sooner then the majorty of epics. Most likely early within the next expansion. it leaves the weapon itself as largely underwhelming and could use a simple tweak to improve its dps potential. The following is my idea of the change to the proc to balance it with the monk proc but still hold its flavor and be different. This is not a comparison to the monk epic proc but a benchmark to hold it against to not overpower the proc. Changes highlighted in RED

Bruiser procWhen Equipped:

On a successful melee attack this spell has a chance to cast Strike of Anger on target of attack. While i would have liked a more creative benefit like 10% to all combat art/spell damage other then a bigger rear proc. A better rear proc will do. The same change should be done to the mythical make the taunt proc into an encounter based taunt and increase the damage proc accordingly .

The issue for anyone at soe reading this is that the damage proc and the DA are the only dps increases this weapon has. So if the damage proc is relatively weak the dps potential is relatively weak.

Personally I kinda like the basic design of it. The problem is that there are no realistic physics or even collision on the whip tail. At the end of a fight it often appears to stand up straight by itself, and during the fight it often shakes around and goes through my own arm or body. Would be nice to be able to use it without goring myself to death.
I feel the same way about my [Removed for Content].
