<p>Needed for Illusionist epic weapon........now I remember why NONE of my alts did this quest.  After 8 HOURS CAMPING PRUD.....nothing...we're not even geting PH's anymore.  Please tell me this is freaking bugged and not "working as intended".  This is totally freaking INSANE.....having major flashbacks of EQ1 and camping for mobs to get those epics........BUT this is a HQ.  8 HOURS?  tell me you actaully think a casual player is going to do this quest.  Not worth the status anymore......1 hour of writs would blow this away.  </p><p>Please fix this [Removed for Content] mob to actually spawn and/or spawn in a timely manner......minimum of 2 freaking hours (and that's pushing it).  Holy cow, he doesn't drop anything, just a freaking quest mob ;(  No reason to have him on a long timer.</p><p><walks away shaking his head> 8 hours? <sigh></p>

<p>At work so i cant give more descriptive info but;</p><p> Stand on the bridge facing west towards the crumbling ruins and wait. The mob is actually on a 15 minute respawn timer but thats from the time of his death. He runs a very long route before despawning on his own so it might take awhile to get him to spawn that first time. Once he does though he will run right at you over the bridge. </p><p>But I am 100% sure that he will spawn every 15 minutes after he is killed. I finished this quest during the superbowl and everyone thought I had a UTI and was going to the bathroom every 15 minutes. The things we do for this game...</p>

<p>Then he must be bugged......4 of us sat at different areas along his run path....2 at either side of that bridge.  In 2 hours, we never got him or a placeholder.  Finally got a placeholder after the initial 2, then again, nothing until i finally went to bed.  Tried again today for another 4 hours and nothing.....not even a PH <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>This has got to be bugged.......can't wait for a server reset now....camped my [Removed for Content] at that bridge ;( LOL</p>

<p>Pretty much seems to be bugged alright.</p><p>A group mate of mine, who had spent a few hours waiting himself, noticed that he got attacked by a toxic water skater every 10 minutes when he stood on the road at Prud's spawn point. Nowhere near any water. Coincidence? Perhaps. Bugged? Yes.</p>

<p>Prud is definitely bugged.  I camped him for 4.5 hrs last night.  A toxic water skater spawned on Prud's spawn point near the ruins.  Note, that is far away from the water where water skaters are located.</p><p>If you are in need of the Stein please be sure to petition in game so that customer service has a record of this issue.</p>

<p>=( feel bad for you guys. I was going to say prud/placeholder used to be on something like a 15 minute timer when I was working on this with an alt a couple of weeks ago. I got horribly unlucky with spawns and it took me forever to actually get Prud not a PH but at least something was spawning.</p><p>Good luck & hopefully they'll fix it soon =/.</p>

<p>Finally recieved a reply on my petition.  Was told by a GM that the Dev Team is aware of this problem and is working on the issue to resolve it.  Told to watch the update notes and the forums as to when it gets fixed ;(</p><p>Sadly, not all fixes go into the update notes and forums....but extremely hopeful this one will <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Well, my epic is done for a while, glad this bug got worked out on test server.....doh, sorry, nm ;( LOL</p>

Well, at least <i>this </i>was on the notes: All bouncers have 100% spawn chance now. Yay! No placeholders anymore.From the initial posting I guess it is possible to get this quest also as "good" character? A confirmation would be nice, before my monk undertakes the long and dangerous journey to East Freeport just to find out that no one of those nice people there would talk to her <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Completed this quest last evening with my 40's Conjuror.  All the bouncers were up as we progressed from one to another, though we did have to wait for a couple to spawn (respawn perhaps).  There are a few named groups in the areas of a couple of the Bouncers that I did not recall from previous viisits, but in a group they were not a problem.</p><p>With running to Freeport (Qeynos aligned) and back, and a little side trip here and there for our bruiser, we finished the entire HQ in 2.5 hours.  Not bad compared to before!</p><p>Good luck on your adventure !!</p><p>Erithorn</p>

Prud seems sometimes to get stuck on his way to the eastern part of feerott. If you have the possibilty to follow his way with a high level toon, id suggest to follow the road until you see him, then kill him to reset respawn timer. That's how we did it last time, coz we waited for a close hour to respawn at bridge and got impatient <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Prud should be fixed to continue running in the next update.  Sometimes he would stop in the middle of the road far to the east if no one was around.</p>

So if you want to get the HQ done before then, try following his path (or just running around the area) rather than waiting at the bridge.  I completed this HQ last week on Guk (post-GU, pre-Brew Day hotfix); I have no idea if Prud was stuck or not, as I was passing the time by harvesting in the vague area of his pathing (rather than waiting on the bridge) when I found him.
