Hey guys,Been searching everywhere and have not been able to find an answer on this. I use a pre configured ui for all my toons which means I do a load_uisettings and copy from my main. However with all of my alts I keep getting put into my channels I choose at a high number. Like my channels begin at 9 and go up from there. I am not sure I am making sense so let me toss an example. On my main the "Good" Channel is /3. I make an alt... copy over the UI and now for some reason my good channel is like /13. I would not normally mind but I like to have colors for each channel to better identify who is talking where, and it seems the Chat Colors options only allows for you to customize up to channel 10.Anyone have any suggestions? Or know a way to clear channels so that I am starting at a clean slate? Thanks for anything!

Here are a couple of options for you to try.1. use the following command in order to arrange your channels for each character as you want them:/setchannelnumber [Old] [New]2. Use the following program, which doesn't actually install anything on your system and is really easy to use, in order to remove any unwanted channels that might be effecting the order:EQ2 Chat ControlNote that if you are going to copy over UI settings from one character to the next it's often recommended that you remove all World chat channel options prior so as to avoid any conflicts that may occur. This might not be your issue but it's something to consider.

Thank you so much. I actually think that might be playing a part. It seems like it is trying to every time I login place me into the channels I was in on my other character. I thank you again for the tips and for saving me from going nuts!

I'm glad that everything seems to have worked out for everyone. That little program is great since it's just a self sufficient exe file that does it's think in a matter of seconds. Gotta love programs that don't even need to be installed to do exactly what you need them to.
