Reet slave mines

is the Reet Slave mine portion of the Epic solo, or is it a group instance?

<p>Its under Seb, requires a good group or at least 5 people. I did it with some very bloody minded Guildees with a single Mystic healing, non raid geared, it took hours and many wipes learning how to do it so I could finish. To do it easier take 2 healers and a full balanced group.</p><p>Reets are social and will agro easilly, Whipcrackers fear, mobs agro through walls in places, there are no safe spots to CoTH to that we could find (if you want to plant an alt there) except just past the first 2 door guards at the mine ent before the first 2 roaming Whipcrackers.</p>

<p>A few things to note on the slave mines:</p><p>1. If you take a group, it is best to have everyone do the first quest for the Reets if people are aggro to them, "<a rel="nofollow" href="http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?eq2quest=4457" target="_blank">For the Love of Reet</a>". This quest will take your group like 5 minutes to do before you go in. The Reet slaves will aggro anyone who has not gotten any Reet faction yet. If you start aggroing the frogs, it makes it much harder to get there.</p><p>2. There are 2 types of Whipcrackers down there. Single ^^^ and ones linked with Reet slaves. If at all possible do not engage the Whipcrackers that are linked with slaves. Aggroing those will cause the slave that it's linked with to also attack you and social all the other frogs that are near you. The aggro range on the linked Whipcrackers is so small that you pretty much have to be standing right on top of them for them to aggro you, so they are not terribly hard to run past.</p><p>If you're going for the part of "A Reet's Freedom" that consists of:</p><p>Free the Reet. </p><ul><li>Once you have the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Sebilis_Slave_Mine_Map" target="_blank">Sebilis Slave Mine Map</a> you can click a rock in the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://eq2.wikia.com/index.php?title=Reet_Slave_Mine&action=edit" target="_blank">Reet Slave Mine</a> and it will send you to the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://eq2.wikia.com/index.php?title=Reet_Resistance_Cave&action=edit" target="_blank">Reet Resistance Cave</a> instance. The clickable rock is found at ( -191, -113, 403) /waypoint -191, -113, 403. <ul><li>Just keep heading in to the mines to find the rock. At the tunnel that splits left and right, left goes to spore king, right goes to your rock. Hug the left wall and you will see it. </li><li>It is in a large room roughly underneath the slave quarters in the mines. The rock is on the left as you enter the room from the area with the mushroom and dog mobs. </li></ul></li><li>Inside the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://eq2.wikia.com/index.php?title=Reet_Slave_Mine&action=edit" target="_blank">Reet Slave Mine</a>, examine the <a rel="nofollow" href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Ensorcelled_Boot" target="_blank">Ensorcelled Boot</a> to summon the frog from upstairs. Talk to him and he tells you to talk to his leader. Speak to his leader at the far end of the zone ( 256, -4, -68&nbsp<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> /waypoint 256, -4, -68. After a short conversation, a messenger will run up and tell the leader that the Reet slaves are being attacked by the Sathirians. </li><li>Slay 12 of the invading Sathirians ( 235, -27, 47&nbsp<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> /waypoint 235, -27, 47. They have about a 45 second repop. </li><li>When you are done, speak to the froglok resistance leader again and you are done. </li></ul><p>You will need to disband from your group when you get to the clickable rock at -191, -113, 403 since this is a solo instance. It is very easy once inside, just make sure you're single pulling the mobs once you get to that part so you don't mess it up. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Where does one get the Ensorcelled Boot?

npc gives it to you, dont worry aboutit... whenyou talk to the quest guy inside the mine, your free to roam around the mine, but don't bother, when you talk to the leader, his little companion will say sathirian's are attacking. At this point, take your time, ok? just go to the west, then north, and when you round the corner you will see a whole bunch of sathirian's spawning, they do not come and attack you , they dont wander the mine, so casually walk up and grab one at a time with body pulling, and since it takes forever to get there, make sure you finish, i wouldnt want to die in there. Now, when you finish, go back to the leader, and get your update, just by talking to him, there isnt anything else to do there, i zoned out, and there was a shiny, grabbed it, and called home, got my next update and went on.
