does anyone have any information about chel'dok and a cinch he made?apparently he was the leader of the di'zok and made a cinch to protect his people from a scholar turned traitor. Conjurors need this cinch for our epic, but we have scoured everywhere. Maybe a bit of lore will help direct us to where we need to go. Any help would be appreciated from people that know this stuff

You're the same one who asked me about this last night, right? If not, it was someone from Crushbone who's name started with L. I tried my best to search through EQ's lore to find a connection, but I've got nothing. Mad Scholar turned Bandit.... That could be anyone or anything. Chel'Dok didn't exist as an NPC in EQlive, and I searched the database for all items with Cinch in the name. Other than the Braided Cinch Cord from Lower Guk and Mana Cinched Leggings from Veksar, everything else was a high level item from the most recent expansions.

Or you can investigate the scholor turned traitor...scholors like to hang out in Libraries. Sarnaks were enemies of wait, wait...um (this is not sarcasm Im actually having trouble naming the lizard guys)...Iksar. Kaosora was their library. Xalgoz was the boss of Kaosora, he is now in karnors (wow, I almost didnt remember Karnor either).

I would investigate there. (I have absolutely no idea if this line of reason is valid). Hope it helps.

Wasn't Korocust a traitorous Sarnak scholar? As I recall, he took over (or maybe he was imprisoned in) his own section of Chardok, called the Halls of Betrayal, back in the Age of Turmoil.

I was paging through my "Maps of Myrist" book just the other night since I saw the Sarathians in Kylong (just started soloing there with my Ranger). I don't have the book with me now but he was a Sarnak who became a Vampire and I guess a traitor when he started serving the Liche King Sarath and was helping him raise an undead army. Halls of Betrayal is the place I think. I'll tear through the book later and get more details.

If my memory serves me right of the information I have seen so far - The Overking made the Chel'drak cinch to protect his people from a traitor

( The Traitor, I believe is Korocust ) From the Hidden passage lore of LDoN the Overking called a secret meeting to look into the strange absences of Korocust and others for long periods of time. Korocust had been delving into Necromantic arts, making other Sarnak do terrible things.

If he has your piece, I don't know for sure, hope this helps
