My room-mate is new to eq2 and I have gotten him to make a paladin to duo w/ my warlock on a pvp server.  It seems like the best AA lines for him are INT, hero, and wrath (If anyone agrees or disagrees I would like to hear what you have to say).  We plan on duoing pve stuff alot, and also pvp obviously.  My main question is in what order he should do the lines in order to maximize his usefulness from an early level.  I would like for use to be able to duo dungeons and things as well as do well in pvp.  Thanks for the help.

Stamina is a nice line as well for hammer ground, melee crit, more health and divine aura.    That was my first line, then hero, then wraith.   Then I did int.   You'll have plenty of dps from your warlock, so intelligence can wait.

I used to solo pvp mostly with a pally (up to 70), currently I'm duoing on a pve server with my fiances warlock (71 and 73)Personally, I would go int line to max out heal crit, then probably healing in eof, and possibly hero. Point is: Stay alive and keep your warlock alive. Also played a pvp warlock to 41 (man theyre fun) and warlock has some really nice dps (warlocks hastening is good, maybe manashield for thos etimes between pally taunts). So you're own dps isnt as important as keeping you two alive. Wrath is a great line for solo pvp but if ya have someone else with dps then I'd focus on staying alive.

He should go STA first then the Paladin healing line second.  You are the dps in the group, he doesn't need wrath right away, but he needs to keep you, and himself alive.  Awesome duo btw.--Elistar, level 37 Paladin, Nagafen
