Please fix Silicate Drop Rates

<p>Ok I understand RNG...and streaky luck or lack thereof in harvesting rares, but really this is getting ridiculous.</p><p>I harvested for the past 3 evenings, hoping to get Silicates for my scout...total time spent harvesting was approximately 10 hrs : During this period I received 15 x Incarnadine Cluster, 2 x Fire Emeralds, 1 x Tynonnium and 1 x Silicate Loam.</p><p>All rares with the exception of <u>Silicate</u> loam, list on the broker for a few gold upto a couple of plat for Tynonnium. Silicate loams are listing for 6 Plat on the Kithicor server. Last night when I logged there were a grand total of 18 Silicate loams for sale (one lucky guy had 12 of them). However, there were pages of Tynonnium, Fire Emeralds and Incarnadine.</p><p>This to me indicates and incredible disparity in either the drop rate of Silicates, and or the classes that use these to make spell upgrades (potentially class distribution i.e. Amount of Scouts / Fighters utilizing these rares vs the other classes and their rare requirements)</p><p>Can someone at SoE please take a look at this because at the moment it's totally ridiculous.</p><p>Regards</p><p> Bara</p>

Were you using the scout to harvest?  if so  that's your problem.   I level my warlock to 80 first  banging on every rock I could find to try to get tynnonium   did I get any?  nope   but found enough silicate to adept 3 my assassin to level 76   ended up buying all but like 5 tynn's for the warlock. So I then start leveling the assassin  again hitting every rock i could find    not a silicate to be had   but plenty of Incardine and fire emeralds    go figure

<p>Murphys Law + RNG is the bane of my existence.</p><p>Last week I was harvesting for Xegonite for my Mystic's armor.... I got 23 spongy loam by the time I had harvested the 6 xegonite I needed.</p>

Silicates aren't dropping for me either.. When Rok was first out I had no issues pulling silicates and selling them for fire emeralds for my healer.. Then again for my 80 assassin he had no issues mining silicates, now on my 3rd toon 80 pally and cannot for the life of me pull silicates and the broker prices are 5p and going up...

<p>If I'm not mistaken silicates are used for twice as many spell (CA) upgrades then any other T8 rare.  That will go a ways to explain there being so much less then the rest of the rares on the broker.</p>
