Okay.So for the most part the brigand epic line is just fine.About 6 or 7 steps in, however, it becomes simply the most moronic thing ever.Basically, all Brigands must collect 4 robes.1 is a lower tier HQ item. Thats perfectly fine, HQs are nice things to have as steps in Epic quests. The other 3 however. Are freaking loot drops from mobs that are long GREY AT lvl 80!*blink*someone brain dead?they do realize that lvl 80 brigands cant even get chests to drop from these mobs, right???

Garb of lost souls : GREY NAMED in SoS Rainment of the sky watcher : GREY RING EVENT in TT (with like 2 hour respawn timer) Keepers robe of Quiescence : GREY NAMED in poets palace .... yeah, freaking t6 zone![Removed for Content] was someone smoking when they made these quests?Make it 3 more HQ items instead, or something, anything, then having to buy crap off the broker for insane plat amounts or dragging along a mentor bot to complete a LVL 85 quests.Come on now, seriously!

Not only are they Legendary chest drops from GREY named...

They are pretty rare Legendary chest drops from GREY named that are on hours long timers... or in instances that you can only enter every day or so.

PLEASE... make the turn in HQ's instead... or SOMETHING I can do being that I'm level 80 and getting some friends together to mentor down too and enter instances from 3 years ago that offer NOTHING to anyone else but the possiblity of a rare Legenary chest drop that I may or may not be lucky enough to have drop for me.

Hell... make the updates down in the deepest levels of Sebilis! At least it will be level appropriate AND I'd have more of a chance to gather up interested folks to spend time helping me along.

~Xilixx

Having to mentor down to farm a gray mob seems pretty stupid. These items should become body drops if they want us to get them.I don't mind camping, but as someone without access to mentor bots and is plat challenged this stinks. Its seem this is a step designed for gold farmers to screw regular players. Yay SOE

Wow that sounds like it will take Epic effort to accomplish.

Soooo - EQ1 style epic farming for weeks on mobs that dont give you any viable drops (beside quest updates) is in order then?Way to go Sony! You guys *really* know what your customers find thrilling! And regarding that 'it should be an epic achievment' thing: I am not quite so sure what is the epic achievment to in finding someone to mentor too and farm green mobs for weeks... but maybe i am the only one thinking that challenging is not quite the same as tedious.- Skavon/Earon

I'm pretty sure that is really similiar to the Ragebringer epic in EQ1. I was cleric so I can't remember exactly.

So this is the only quest in EQ2 where you cant complete it while being at lvl requred to get it. Awsome.

Oh and the skywatcher was a 4 hour timer if I remember correctly, and that is IF you dont get the PH. and IF he drops the robe.

So I hope the brig epic has a /kill clicky on it with a 2 second reuse.

I normally fairly relaxed about whatever happens in the game.... But got to agree with all the Briggies and all the different Boards..

The need to MENTOR just seems stupid for an epic quest. Particularly this much and this early into it.

I thought Sony was keen to removes the Farmers out of the game. This just encourages them

If any Brigs on Unrest want a healer, let me know! Never been in Poet's, could be fun.
When i first heard about the "robe-thing" i thought its just a joke, but no it's true. You can't be serious, forcing us to mentor down (of course you have to find someone first, who is willing to do that, or do you want us to ..... you now what i mean), and then it isn't even assured that the needed robe will drop, so we have to farm gray content? Never-ending fun yeah /sarcasm[Removed for Content] were you thinking? All in all its a game and this is definitive no fun at all, sorry it is just lame.

To be honest I don't mind having these things happen in "Epic" quests. It makes people take longer to get the item, also it requires help from others. I dunno I just kinda think it makes sense that they make the EPIC quest line, actually epic rather than all mobs are 70+ and you can solo/kill them to get any items you need.

There will be an alternate way to progress this section very soon. I am hoping to have this hotfixed ASAP.

So just to be clear there will be an alternate way to get these garbs that will update the quest:

Garb of lost souls Rainment of the sky watcher Keepers robe of Quiescence

If you have the robes already they will work as normal.
