Inquisitor Epic Weapon Starter

<p>Does the Inquisitor Epic Weapon Starter drop from somewhere other than Chelsith?</p><p>So far, I've only heard that it drops from the fish named in Chelsith, no drop reported from trash or outside this instance.</p><p>I hope we are missing something cause it's highly unfair to put a starter on an instance that you can't farm to death. Specially one with a 30hr lock out!</p>

Not only does it only drop from the named fishmen, but it is an ornate drop... We realy got the shaft here when other epic quests are just clickies on the freakin ground. *Edit* At least this is all the information i have heard so far from the world wide chat channels. With statements from Dev's saying that no epic starter drops exclusively from a rare named, i have started to wonder about this information.

<p>I read that dev post, you figured that clearing Chelsith, at least 1 normal mob would drop it. I think the problem is that it is an ornate chest istead of wood.</p><p>And this still leaves the problem that it's on a zone that has a lock out timer... I feel cheated.</p>

It's gotta be pretty soon; epics are basically top priority right now, so it can't take long.

<p>How much time do you need to actually get these things right? I've never so much as complained on these boards about anything, because invaraibly in the past, any quest that was broken tended to affect the entire playerbase, which while frustrating means everyone is on a level playing field.</p><p> And now what? a class still can't find their starter after 24 hours, and our class has (complete conjecture inc) maybe 15% started on thiers with another 60-80% clearing the zone with no luck and sat waiting for the longest heroic instanced lockout timer in the game to come up just for a remote shot at the starter?</p><p>So while 98% of my guild are off trying to work out their next steps, I'm left sitting around waiting for one of two miracles to happen. Either I get the drop tomorrow when my lockout is up, or you guys actually understand how utterly frustrating this is and pull out all the stops to put something in place ASAP (like within hours not days)</p><p> Please? </p>

That's kind of a big mistake there. How long are the dev's going to take to fix this? And is anything going to be done to help those of us who ran the instance, did not get the starter, and are now locked out for 30 hours due to that screw up? Even once the drop rate is fixed, some of the other steps in Chelsith seem a bit iffy as well. 30 hours between steps of something gets messed up on the players side seems a bit harsh when other epic lines do not have to worry about anything like that this early into their timeline.

They admitted it was a mistake, and they have a fix for it.  I am sure it will be in the next hot fix.  Not like you've run this zone 2 or more times.  You've done it once since this went live.  Just don't do it again till the hot fix is in.You're not the only class requiring a fix.

As far as i know we are the only class who needs a fix before the vast majority of us can even start the quest. I have heard that the Mystic starter is in game, just not found as of yet, big difference than just being broken.

Wasn't referring to my particular epic.  Dev posted ours was in game.Dirge, Brigand also require fixes, also stated by devs.

While i agree that those need fixes as well due to the starter only dropping off of a named in Seb, there is no lockout timer on Seb, and the name can be camped. While still a major PITA, not as bad as the shaft Inquisitors recieved.

Once every two days, I have a chance to get my quest starter. But so many other class types simply walk up to an object/NPC/room to start their epic line... Talk about weak. Who ever designed this obviously did not have their thinking cap on.</p><p>Was this worth the massively delayed release of epics? Yeah...</p><p>So do I run Chelsith this evening and pray for a drop? Or do I wait for tomorrow morning and pray for a patch?  Either way, I find myself looking to the heavens for hope, and I am not a religeous person!</p>

Could you guys throw us a Bone here and give an estimation of "when" this elusive fix will be implimanted into the game. I would REALLY like to be able to work on MY EPIC quest like everyone else. This is frusterating, and VERY disappointing!!

If all goes as it should, it will be fixed in tomorrow's update. Also, it will be possible to get it outside of Chelsith.

you know what that means...EU servers always get patches 1-2 day/s late

The raid zones are messed up and i cant start my epic for quite a while (eu servers=poo) so i'll guess i'll revive my wow account so that i actualy have something to do...

Curious, I just looked through the update notes and saw a hotfix for Brigs but not us.  Anyone find the starter besides Chelsith? I would check again but I have a wonderfully long lockout timer to contend with before I can go again.

<p>They are dropping from patrollers on the beach near chelsith.. still in an ornate chest though.. but I got it after 4-5 kills.</p>
