My room-mate is gonna buy eq2 and we want to start duoing. I have a wizard that I plan to change to a lock (while staying in Qeynos, I heard it was pretty easy?), and I've searched and alot of people say that this combo is good, at least for pve. I haven't seen anything about pvp. If anyone has any thoughts it would be appreciated. We don't want to do the whole rogue/druid duo because its honestly overdone. Thought about monk/mystic, but neither one wants to be the mystic (mostly neither of us wants to just be a dedicated healer).

I play a paladin and I love it. Great for soloing, but add a high DPS class and you can duo pretty much anything. Specced the right way a paladin can outheal most priests of the same level. With amends/atonement et cetera a warlock (or swashy) make a fantastic duo partner. All that AE DPS along with what the tank/healer is already bringing will see groups drop fast, the mage stays safe and he also lends some very nice buffs to your meatshieldness.

Paladin + Lock is a very good duo
