It's very easy to edit and will keep us all on the same page. /thumbs-up-------------Here's what seems to be known so far...Epic weapon quests were introduced with Game Update 42. There are two epic weapons per subclass -- a "Legendary" version that requires completing solo and heroic content and an upgraded, "Fabled" version that will require the completion of some epic content.Information will be sparse at start, so if you have any information at all now that this content is live, please add it to the Paladin Epic Weapon Timeline wiki without worrying too much about it's format. If you discover something false please fix it. -------------Based on what's been seen so far, the starters appear to be trash drops off mobs in different zones. COME ON PALADINS! BE THE WORLDWIDE FIRST TO GET THE EPIC!

Holy crap. We're not doing too bad (at least we're started) but there are a few classes way ahead of us on the walkthrough and after looking the other walkthroughs over...

Something to keep in mind as I've been looking at the other class spoilers: A few classes are reporting that they are required to have some obscure item in their inventory to progress in some spots. Like guardians need BBC. Monks say they need "Teachings of Master Wu" and "Journal of Wu, Seeker of Enlightenment" in their inventory.

Item's aren't really a concern. we have the item we need from teh guy in WFP. we just can't locate the person we're supposed to turn it into. I've tried:Irontoe FortsCrow's resting placeKoS Hidden refuge froglok campNQTerren's Graspand found no trace of Sir Braveblade.

One other thing that crosses my mind is that the Testimony is possibly of a past Knight of Marr. Maybe we should check ruins of the places they have been, the Freeport Cemetary, and the Ruins of Val'Marr
Rainmare

the testimony is of the Guild Leader of the Knights of Truth, the Freeport pally guild. and we looked int eh graveyard, nothing there. ruins of valmarr as well, nothing there.just checked the marr knights in nek forest, nada

Someone fallen. And he's going by a different name now. It's..an idea.

There is a statue or two of Lucan with a pally buff on it...hail or click on it? Anyway, when I go back into game I'll try those idea. Does the location of the former Knights of Marr still exist? A building?(Isn't able to get to FP at this very moment to check this)

no. all that's left is the newbie zone called the Graveyard. however, judging from the text of the npc, Braveblade is not going to be found in/near freeport. unless he's hidden somewhere in the commonlands, which is unlikely at best.

Another random idea. What if Brightblade retired? Is now a weaponsmith somewhere in one of the cities, major or minor?

Hmmm...Frogloks follow Marr, well the Gutkan ones do..anyone zone into the old Froggy instance for the Froglok unlock quest? The one in Feerrott? There's also that Froglok refugee camp, with the Froglok princess or whatever she is leading it, down the waterfall in TT.

Game normally uses "Dame" for female knights..but there's Althea Jyleel (first name probably wrong) in Kelethin, she was part of the Soulfire series, and she is lugging about a sword that looks like the Qeynos Claymore. I don't think that's it either, but worth a shot...think she was a paladin of Marr even though her ancestor is a Paladin of Tunare from Felwithe.

the name of the knight is Braveblade. so any knight that is not called braveblade, or any npc not named braveblade, won't be it. we tried the frogloks in KoS, the ones in hidden refuge. nothing. I've gone through the weaponsmiths in Qeynos. nothing.

Rainmare
02-07-2008, 01:48 AM
not up on my server.this is really just plain stupid. they give us a name, no idea where this npc may be, and everyplace that is logically sound to find him in turns up nothing.he's a knight of marr.but you can't find him in the marr camp in nek forest, he's not with the marr worshipping frogloks in KJ or KoS, he's not near the temple of life building in Qeynos, nor by the Qeynos guard. he's not by the prophet of marr in kelethin. He's not at the ruins of Val'marr, he's not in the graveyard of nfp as a ghost.so exactly where are we supposed to look for a knight of marr, when everyplace that seems to have natural marr followers is a bust?

I don't know. I'm drawing a blank too. Generally one's looking at probably human or Gutkan Froglok in the game for that, but could be anything of course. Like that High Elf I mentioned a couple posts back. Just can't think of anything good right now...I don't know, they said Playstation game would factor into the lore, where are Knights of Marr in it?

Or Barbarian..check under the water in Everfrost? Sure someone has by now, but still.

I kept the wiki clean and precise for as long as I could tonight. PLEASE keep the updates coming and if you are keeping tabs on the crushbone.paladinsforright channel and hear progression that you don't see in the wiki... help your community out and add a step or two when nessesary. We can see the history on the wiki and Paladins that contribute to the cause win at EQ2. Don't get discouraged if you don't understand the "#" and "##" formatting, just add your stuff below on our official timeline wiki.As long as we can get the zone+coordinates of NPCs and progression mobs in the timeline we'll be in great shape for fleshing out the rest. We'll pretty it up later with templates and linking to more detailed individual quest templated pages. Let's just spread the knowledge as the Paladin epic can only be solved by the Paladin community.I handed the wiki updates over to Glenwind for the night since they're still rockin-n-rollin. Let's try to pass the wiki torch before we log since progress just keeps getting made. /CHEER PALADINS We're kicking some tail and got the best community of all classes. /proud

according to the wiki the third step requires 40,000+ Synod Reet Faction is this true? I'm at neg 1000 and the only quests I have are in sebilis and only give about 1k each...is this confirmed yet? this would be some heavy grinding.

Ya those reet quests in seb are heroics too.. I was lucky and had 32k reet and only had to do 2 quests for 5k each.. The mender froglok guy gives a 1k quest then 2 5ks in a row.. Do his you should make out ok and quicker than the 1ks but grab the 1ks if your going there.. Either way thuogh, I doubt Im gonna bother with these epic quests on any 80 toon.. Way too much of a time sink for a non raider.

how come you had so much in the beginning? are there other quests to get faction with the frogs?I believe I learned the Froak language from the Mysterious Green Tome Collection in Fens of Nasir - not too sure tho if it can be learned another way or even if it is required. Are there stats posted yet for any of those epics ?

Im not totally sure but if you do the KJ quests in a certain order you might end up with more or less faction with a certain group.. I did all the kj ones and those reet ones last.. I think thats why I had more faction maybe idk..
Rainmare
02-08-2008, 12:36 AM
has anyone tried it wiith less that say 20k faction? or at 30k faction? Or know any mobs that can be killed for reet faction rather then trying to convince a group to zone in, quest, zone out, repeat?
ArcticFlare Arcadi
02-09-2008, 04:15 PM
Im at the same spot trying to get my faction up for the reet. We should be able to grind this faction without having to group in a heroic zone to do this. Unless you have dedicated freinds to group and help ya get this faction up its going to take a long time to advance in this quest line. Not good at all.

In order for you to max out reet faction quickly you should have done all the other factions first since they require you to kill reet and skellys at -100 a pop it doesnt take many to kill your faction standing. Then do the 35k Reet faction quest the guy at the arch gives you by the reet camp... this can be done 2 times. I also skipped the ring event that requires you to "find the source of the skeletons" as you lose a ton of faction by doing this quest (my wife did this quest and found she only had 15k faction where I had 37k AT the time. I NOW have 40k and have only done 1 selibis quest. Alas Im not high enough to do the Epic quest yet (77)...
Question though... what HQs do we need to have completed before we start..
