Could of sworn there was a sleight of hand fix comming in this update to make it properly transfer agro both ways instead of one way. Did they decide to not do it? or was it just not posted in update notes? i know there are a couple things for classes that was not posted in notes wondering if it was one just not posted or if it was not put in this update.

Why would they fix an ability that was obviously meant to [Removed for Content] us?  Since it works better (or is it worse) than they intended, why change it?

 Something has changed with this ability. I have been using this as a sort of rescue when i was tanking. I twas a 100% garrenty of getting agro back if some one else grabbed it. Last night this no longer worked like that. Repeatly tried to use it to get agro back of fthe brigand we play with and it wouldnt put me back at the top of the list. b/4 lu42 it always did. So not sure if its fixed or what.

It is the single most overpowered aggro tool in the game, hands down. I loved taking advantage of it, watching a mob memblur and attempt to run at someone else, then turn to me and stay there rather than running at my raid and aoe'ing was the best thing since sliced bread. I really have no use for it as a de-aggro tool, never in my raiding experience have I wanted to be anything less than 2nd on the hate list at any time on any encounter. They tried to fix it to work both ways and now it doesn't work at all, just a cool thing to put an icon on my friend and use some of my mana, off my hotbar until it gets fixed <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Looking forward to it actually 'working as intended' some day, but I'd still prefer a large % short term hate transfer over this skill. If this is 'working as intended' - it's useless ;p

Completely broken now.  No comment from the Devs about a change in the first place and no comment about how they messed it up.  Heh, there was really no comment about it not working as intended when it was a 30 second rescue.Since they can't get it working after 3 attempts, just change the skill already.  It is apparent that something in the game mechanics is preventing this skill from working they way it was envisioned.  How about make it a 12 second buff that will do the following:  <b><u>Double all hate increase if target is a fighter and turn all damage out into detaunt if target is non-fighter.</u></b>It would then fulfill its goal of helping the tank and saving the squishies and it wouldn't have to mess with this swapping of hate positions, which seems to be the problem ATM.

I would like to see the original requirement on this ability.Probably something like:A class defining ability that will increase the swashbuckler hate manipulation in an encounter.The easiest way to fix this is to change the ability to an amends type ability that can work in conjunction with our aggro transfer.Single target: Group Friend.Effect: Transfers 15% of targets hate to the swashbuckler.My reasons:1.    This can be used without our aggro transfer when tanking for the tanking swashbuckler2.    This can be used in conjunction with our aggro transfer to add an additional 2-3% hate to the main tank without breaching cap rules3.    The Amends mechanic is already in game and does not require major recoding4.    15% single target amends is far less overpowering than a 30sec super rescue5.    Fabled set armour can easily be change to increase the percentage of the amends which will work in synergy with our epic weapon increasing our aggro transferFor balancing issues the number (15%) can be adjusted, this ability could also be made raid wide but I am unsure if this would then be overpowered.

That would be a bad idea. First of making it group only sucks.  On raids I am no in the group of anyone I would like "amends".Also, With our epic we will be generating massive AoE hate with hurricane.  I don't need MORE hate coming to me consistently.  The old method allowed us to pull hate in a controlled manner.I may be biased but I still like my method.  A temp buff that either doubles hate gain on a fighter or turn would be hate gain into hate loss on anyone else.  Very simple, it does it's job, the immunity is important for our set bonus, etc...  Then swashies could cycle it like Jesters cap or something making it an ability we use all the time instead of a once per raid thing.

Would be nice it by attaining level 80 I could get a spell that is even worth hitting once in a while.
