View Full Version : SK pvp related questions
Hey again.I'm a bit new to the SK class and I'm still learning. This time I need some help to find what I'm doing wrong in pvp. Killing someone with HT on cooldown seems to be impossiable.-------------------------------------Lvl 34I got the following AA build of 49 points.STR4-4-7-7-1 (24 Points)Int4-4-8Reaver3 UW - 3 GC - 2 LTEquip:32 MC 1h Hammer32 MC Kite Shield22 MC Plate set (the int wis sta one)Jewelry are based on int, wis, sta basicly.I do not use any accessories such as potions and so on because I don't got the access to that kind of items. We're a 5 man guild with shared income when it comes to money ^^----------------------------------------I don't want to know in detail how to do or what's the best solution, I just want some guiding hints. I wanna build my own character and play my way in the end. What I would like to try would be to max out the reaver tree and see how it goes. But then again, I'm only level 34 and I do not got the tap veins, mana sieve nor the doom judgement spells yet, so it feels like a waste of AA's at my level.I went down the stamina tree 7-4-4-7-1 at first and loved the aura & hp boost. Then I changed my mind to go for the STR tree for the hate gain due to my tanking position in the guild.

Well. I highly recomend to get reaver before STA or STR. Reaver heals by a lot, then go STA line Divine Aura and AOE stun + knockback rocks.

Getting 32 MC will help a lot, but i think you need more balance. If you go MC set of (sta int wis) jewelery should be (str agi sta). Int is good but str is good too!

That being said you shouldn't do so bad with your AAs and equipment. Always keep our reactive lifetap up, and put 5 points of AA on it ASAP. Kick + lifetap, grim coil, bash + reactive is the way to survive. At 40 will be easier couse i think we get the snare + uber nuke to finish em. I even remember beating swashis easly at your lvl. Something It's hella hard for me now at 80.

Well I'm currently playing high end pvp on venekor and to be honest Reaver is so dangerous to use I have just speced out of it.

Reaver pretty much is only effective if you are constantly using spells, you dont get this luxury in most PVP fights. The actual Reaver endline ability has caused my death more often than not.

I would say got INT first for crit spells hits. Then upgrade your lifetaps, especially the ward, which is far more useful than Harm touch. Finally get Divine aura it is invaluable 10 seconds of invunerability is an eternity in pvp

Well, of course the actual reaver line is pretty much mandatory in PVP. Thats why i mentioned upgrading the ward and lifetaps in my post. The end line ability is not generally a good idea though.
