I actually found one of these bugs in a different hive than mentioned in Wiki.  Basically I'd suggest climbing up into ever hive possible and looking absolutely everywhere inside for a bug.  I'm pretty sure that if you find an insect for one of the other of the 3 quests it will automatically give you the quest it is for.  They are difficult to spot sometimes, which I guess is why you are given special glasses (although I didn't find them much help).

<p>I found mine in one of the center hives, then the other 2 (eventually) in the hives where you need to climb up from the rocks, on either side of the valley. At the same time I saw another player 'camping' one of the other hives, and to my knowledge he's still waiting. I got a 'hint' message each time as I approached but that may vary on how your chat is set up.</p>

Yeah, the writeup there is off.  Try the different hives.  And you need the goggles on to find them.

<p>There is also a text message when you get near one of the hives with bugs.  Something to the effect of - You hear a strange buzzing.</p><p>I was able to easily find 2 of the 3 bugs, but had the hardest time finding the third.  Finally noticed that text message, and found the last one after scanning every inch of that hive.</p>

Hi ya,That quest was driving me crazy too.  Finally, after following all of the loc's in Alakhazam (one's made by a recent poster, not the mainone), I found the third bug.  The guy had posted more accurate loc's, which I typed into my map and made waypoints for.  The really hard one was one honey stick you climb facing towards Highton.  You climb up, and the bug is straight ahead in the hive, and a little to the lefton far wall.  Hard to see at first.  <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/385970365b8ed7503b4294502a458efa.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />Good luck!Silk

<p>hehe finally after 6 straight hours i finally gave up and little did i know a guildie was on that knew where it was he came and showed me exactly where it was</p><p>the "Yet another strange creature" is in where the map tells you but if you face away from highton keep going left along the cliff wall you will find a ramp going up and when you get up you find a another climable thingy and its in the door at the top</p>

<p>as of today this quest is still bugged i got to the 1st bug location as defined on eq2 maps and wiki and i hear the buzzing but the bug is no where in the nest</p><p>Found one on the side of the entryway - another in the nest where you climb up the ramp to get to the honey but the last one or first one is not in the hive - either it was to be in one of the honeycombs or on the wooden plank and it is not there I have a 22" monitor and scanned every inch the thing isnt there.</p>
