I worked most of the quest lines in Jarsath, but at some point i decided to go back and do the thuuga line that starts with Fist full of metal and ends with ugly bounty.

so i finish that line, head back to jarsath to finish up the Clan Stormsheild repeatables etc etc... ok im all set now to go work on the hammer quest only available after max faction with Sel'nok, Danak, and Skeleros(?). Looking at my faction window it shows that im indifferent to sel'nok with 1500 or so faction.

asking in the 70-79 channel i hear that doing the thuuga line will decrease my sel'nok. so now that means i have to grind faction at 25 per kill since there are no repeatable quests that im aware of for sel'nok

so my question is... i am really stuck grinding 25point per kill mobs to rebuild my faction to 50k from 1500. is it true that the thuuga line is what brought my sel'nok faction back down from max after completeing all the lines in jarsath? is there a repeatable for faction with sel'nok?

any input would be great

No, you have not finished the quest line. The last quest in the Sel'Nok quest line gives you +50,000 faction. Finish up the quest line and you might be 10-15 kills short of max faction.

I did Thuuga before I did JW and still came out max faction because of the kills I had during the quest lines.

thats what im saying.. i did all sel'nok BEFORE thuuga. i did most of jarsath BEFORE thuuga, i only really had the clan stormsheild repeatables near skyfire AFTER i did thuuga

You only have to kill 10 or 15 of the Sel'Nok sarnaks during the Thuuga quest line. At 100 faction points per kill, that hardly causes a ripple. If you are at 1500 total faction with Sel'Nok then you could not have completed the Sel'Nok quest line, which will max you out at 50k faction on the last quest alone.

If you did indeed have max faction with Sel'Nok at some point then you have been doing something other than Thuuga quests to bring it down that much.

How many Sel'Nok did you kill for thuuga (I think it is only -100 per kill), you were at 50,000 before and you are at 1500 now, You had to kill almost 500 Sel'Nok to complete thuuga?

If you did not kill almost 500 Sel'Nok, then you have NOT finished the quest line through the Skyfire quests.

Just for the record and in case you did not know of it, there is a Sel'Nok Brigade Scout camp in Skyfire Mountains that gives the second half of the Sel'Nok quest line, including the final 45k/50k faction reward quest. If all you did were the quests in the cave in the Overthere then you have only done the first half of the quests.

The last quest in the Sel'nok series gives 50k faction and is called 'To the Warlord!', you might want to see if youve done that quest.

If you're at +1,500 total Sel'Nok Faction then you definitely missed some quests. It is possible to start the Skyfire quests and not do the Overthere portion, which I have seen many people do. The quest line starts with Emissary Dih'ri ( -1060, -80, -560 ). Once you complete her quests, you will be able to enter the cave and do the quests there. ( -996, -67, -980).

There should be no reason to have to grind any of the factions in Jarsath, all the quest lines should put you at max ally (except the Hunter Quests) when you have completed the quest line. And yes, you only need Legion of Danak, Clan Skleross and The Sel'Nok Brigade quest lines completed to be eligible to get the Overthere Hammer quests which start with Necromancer Corporiss.

I believe there is a section on the Thuuga quests where you have to kill some Sel'Nok Brigade NPCs, but that should lower your faction no more the 1,000 to 1,500 faction.

i now recall the issue i had during this line.

After completeing the quest line in the caves and you go visit Agent Zhatia near hollowing stones, i did not get the update to the quest Information Highway. I was only offered the next quest for Danak from this NPC.

When i did travel over to skyfire to speak with Scout Nan'Dor i was offered his quest line. But I was either not offered or was unable to speak to Warlord Sel'nok. I cant recall which it was atm, but will check at work. I do recall having this issue while runnign the lines because i was duoing and the other person recieved different quest then me at these two points.

edit: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/What_Was_Lost this might be my issue.. i was never offered what was lost, possibly because i was already on head or tales, will check when home for lunch

Same with Legion of Danak. How do raise that faction back up?
