Does Spell Level affect Resists?

<p>In t7 we can take our group taunt (Protectiojn) at master 2.  It has 43% harder resists.  If I compare that to the t8 Adept 3 (Guard)  at 37% harder (or even master at 40%).  IS the lower tier master 2 going to always retain its resist advantage, or does it drop off as mobs get higher in level.</p><p>The difference between T7 M2 and T8 AD3 is about 100 hate.  I'm considering giving that up for a higher rate of having it land - going for the consistency.</p><p>What do people think?</p>

Spell level doesn't affect resists to my knowledge, unless the spell itself has a level restriction that says otherwise. The only thing that does affect resists would be the spell rank (Adept 3 vs Master 1 vs Master 2).Personally (and I'm no guardian, mind you), I'd use the tier 8 adept 3 taunt over the tier 7 master 2. The higher hate makes up for the lower resistability, in my opinion.
