gender specific quests?

may sound unusual, but every mmo's i've played has had them. you must be a male/female character to do certain quests. i haven't noticed any in eq2 yet, are there any?if not, are there any quests that are for both male and female, but your char's gender will somehow alter the quets progression?thank you

I have been questing since release and I really can't even think of one quest that is even slightly gender specific. I think your choice of sex is more of a visual thing and no one at SOE thinks about things like that. If someone finds one or thinks of something, I would be interested in knowing about it though.

However, there are certain quests out there where you, the player, respond to the NPC in rather out of character ways. I can't think of how many quests where I responded in a rather macho fashion to the NPC. the Fistful of Metal Line has you cowering in fear for some NPC responses. I'd like to think it's just an act, but still.

The Erolisi Day quest last year that had my female toon running around hitting on women all over Qeynos was certainly interesting, as well.

They avoid all gender specific issues at SoE.  For example, the reason why there are no lavatories in EQ2 is just so we don't get into the whole seat up/seat down debate!  <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

I can't think of a single quest in any of the MMOs that I've played that was gender specific in anything other than perhaps the rewards (and that is just graphical display of the same item).</p><p>But as far as I've seen there is nothing like that in EQ2.</p>
