Level 44 Master?

Any thoguhts on which to take?  None of them are my favorite spells...  Maybe I;m missing something.

<p>I took perplexity for that level.  The boost to your ability to stun lock encounters is nice.  5 aa's into all 3 of the stun spells in the thought snap line as well as having mindbend available, and encounter daze really significantly reduces your opponents ability to do damage.  It makes it so that many groups that otherwise would need a second healer don't need one.</p><p>The spell lash line will be your favorite spell whenever you get into raiding, it's seriously the most fun source of DPS, particularly with 6 aa's spent on Enhance: Spell Lash.</p>

Can you actually stun lock encounters?   What AA setup would be needed for that.

<p>You can't quite perma stun it, but you can get them stunned for a really long time.</p><p>5aa's in deep focus +3s reuse reduction from relic leggings and  ring of the 4 winds 5% reuse reduction changes 30s reuse to 20.5s</p><p>Duration based on t7 spells, t6 spells will leave more gaps and t8 spells will close them up a little tighter.</p><p>8s  Deep focus4s  Mindbend (x3 reactives, in case you're late on one)6s  Counfoundment5s  Sonic Boom8s  Deep focus</p><p>27s of stunlock so far, they'll get a hit in there somewhere and you got another 4s from mindbend firing once.  Usually it'll happen before deep focus recycles.</p><p>If you throw in 15s Absolute silence8s  Ego Melt (daze component)it's kind of like being stunned since mob stifled and dazed, and by the time it wears off you've had the mob stunned or stifle/dazed for 35-40 seconds.  Most instanced named mobs will be dead by now.</p><p>If not then in another 4 or 5s (another mindbend hit) you can8s Deep focus </p><p>If you have 5 aa's in ego melt, confoundment, and sonic boom your reuse on those is down to about 38s with our 5% reuse example.  This puts your reuses on confoundment and sonic boom coming up.  So now you've also got6s Confoundment5s Sonic Boom4s Probably getting a mindbend hit here15s stifle8s daze8s Deep focus</p><p>So out of a minute twenty there you're looking at the mob probably having had a good solid 4 seconds worth of activity, maybe, with one swing occurring in the first 40s.</p><p>Incidentally this is why I would often reply to requests to fill secondary healer slot, and why in the right zone you can get by with no primary healer and just a ton of dps if you're careful.</p>
