Respec questions...

Curious as to what trees can be respeced and how.  Can racials be respeced?  Traits?  Archetype AA? Class AA?  Where does someone of Freeport do each?  Thanks.

Other than that, you can respec archtype and class AA's by seeing a guy (forget the name) in the mage building basement. Ask him and he will give you a deck of cards worth 5 respecs. Ask twice so you get one for each AA tree. </p><p>I also have a respec thingie on some of my characters for the other stuff but for life of me I can't remember where they came from. Probably /claim items.</p>

Respecing looks like its pretty cheap.You'd have to change your mind an awful lot in order for it to even be a money drain.

The respec cards (5 charges) are claimed by visiting the same respec guy (basement of library in North Freeport, or right teleporter of the mage tower in Qeynos).

When you respec an AA tree the points go back into a common pool and can be assigned to either tree (it used to be the points were locked to the tree you originally assigned them to, but this got changed a while back). You can hail the NPC (locations have been mentioned) twice and get two decks of cards, one for each AA tree, good for 5 free respecs. Depending on character age and veteran rewards, you may have additional free respecs available (if you do, they show as a button on your AA window). You can also buy respecs from the NPC. The initial cost is 10g per respec (each tree and your racials/M2s/etc is a separate respec). The cost will go up 10x with each respec, and reset down to 10g again after a month. If you've a high-level character with plenty of gold available, I recommend buying the 10g respecs and saving the free-respec decks for those cases where the respec just isn't working and you need to change it before the 1-month reset period's up.

I"m pretty sure when I respeced it was like 10s, not 10g.  I have never used any of my cards yet (only level 45 though)
