i like rosewood strongboxes. with my scout @str of 200ish i can carry a few of these without noticing. there are larger boxes but they dont seem to be worth the extra cash to me. as for bags, get the heratige one in EL. got mine in about an hour with the help of a guildie. only thing i keep the "harvesting" bags for is rares in bank slots. with the update to 200 items/stack (not sure when that happened but i like it) i can harvest all day and not fill up all my slots. Then again, i harvest one day. fight the next. quest the next, then repeat cycle. reduces boredom that way.

Praetoriat

42ranger (42AA)

41jeweler(tomorrow is crafting day)

Ah, do you recall who starts the EL quest, and how big the bag was for the reward?

Actually on the island of mara there is a quest line there to get a really large (32 slot) harvest bag and also based on your profession an item to give you skill in it. I would suggest hitting the tradeform stickies it's linked there. Basically if you have 240 harvest skill you can do the quest even if your level 10. The island is safe you just need the skill to actually get the stuff from the island. Although there are like 2 professions that don't really need the skill (sage is one of them don't know the other) soo you might luck out there.

As to bags in general I endedup buying from the broker 20 slot bags for like 6-7 gold each as in BAGS not boxes. So that i could have them on me. Now if your looking just for the biggest slot containers for like a bank or a house vault then yea go with the 32 slot boxes again around 7ish gold. If your looking for the biggest box for the broker that would be a salesman crate but they can get rather pricey at the larger sizes. THere are speciality crates but they only hold a partiqular type of thing.

The EL heritage quest is for the Evil Eye Bag: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Foomby%27s_Stolen_Goods

The Mar quest requires a TS level of 50 as well as harvesting level of 240, but you do get a very nice harvest only bag (which can include body drop pelts and rocks): http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Fallen_Dynasty_Timeline (at the bottom).

There's also the Tinkerer's Bag; that's a HQ in Bonemire. Level 65 quest, if I recall. 32 slot 100% weight reduction.Someone mentioned a box of null space once. I've never seen it, but it's supposed to be huge.Strongboxes are only good if you have a high STR rating. Mages don't usually have the muscles to haul them around. However, if you've got it, the largest of these is the redwood strongbox.Definitely do the Feerrott fern leaves. That's a nice bag, and if you've got the money to pay for the leaves, you can get it early. Maple leaves gives a bag as well, but it'll be a bit smaller.

Mah suggestion for all casters: spend a few of the Character Traits on the STR boost, just enough so you can comfortably carry a 100 weight box

Ah just spent 80gold on 8 Redwood Stongboxes from mah favourite strong box supplier (mah old supplier stopped playing ), spent about 30 minutes sorting out one of mah characters' neglected bank space (made enough room that she can now dedicate an inventory slot for the harvest bag )

Hmmm, ah like that idea of putting the harvest bag in first inventory slot and graphically moving it to last slot (ok, looks like this was mentioned in a similar thread, not this one )

If only you could have boxes within boxes. Then you could have a tinkerers bag full of redwood strong boxes
