<p>Just hit lvl 80 and getting curious about how effective I am.  Ive never paid attention much to what my parse numbers are but want to make sure Im inline with rest the swashys out there.  In somewhere like COA, in a pickup grp (ie not optimal with dirge backing me and such) what kind numbers should I be doing to named mobs? Lastnight when we was parsing named mobs had a zerk..fury..temp..necro..wizzy..and me. I was always #1 on parse but not putting much stock into that since I was parsing double the 80 necro so I figure they was slacking hehe.</p>

<p>Probably not the most uber here, not all raid fabled etc...</p><p> Without buffing class like dirge or illusionist (or both), I do between 1500 and 2200 on names and between there for zone wide.</p><p> With dirge/illusionist between 2500 and 3300.</p><p> I'm just one so so swashy, but that's what I've been seeing.</p>

Unless they had named there pet after them selfs the parse would had seperated the nercos  dps and the pets dps seperatly. As far as your person dps i usualy run a 3k zw for coa and thats while tanking the zone in a 5 man group. The true power of running a parser isn the numbers you see spammed. its being able to look over your zone wide damage and see where your damage is coming from. what you could be doing better where your weak points are.

I cap out at about 5500 with decent buffs on the short named fights in CoA, usually zonewide 2.8-3.2k weapon is 1h segmented serrator

The groups I take are usually pushing 15k and I'm tanking, so I just have to get a few licks in while they tear it up.. ;p If you really want to compare dps, go beat up the training wall at tabernacle of pain

Who cares, so long as you are doing your job it doesn't matter, if others think you parse high they will invite you to group again, if they don't find a new group, honestly so long as mages are dying and you are having fun, forget the numbers

aye just know ur spells, (timing wise what benefits another spell and helps you get off the attacks the fastest) [Removed for Content] mobs, and try and put all the other dps classes and the tank to shame (I like to pull the mob away turn it all about [Removed for Content] slapping it and then toss it back to the tank when im done) And u'll do fine.
