Mounts for AGI AA line

<p>Do the various AGI AA line abilities work with mounts other than actual horses?  Such as Wargs, Rhinos, etc?  I can understand them not working with carpets (no real "mass" there to assist your attack with a lance), but I'd think a warg or rhino would realistically work.</p><p>Thanks!</p>

IIRC the mount requirement has been removed.  I was using Lance (when I had it spec'd) for a bit without being mounted or on a carpet.  Trample functioned as well.

Since the agility line is all about mounted combat I think each box of the AA line should slighly improve the summoned horse we get.  There are plenty of classes with movement abilities and when we finally get ours its at lvl 20 and its a wopping 10%.  If they would make mastery of the line increase the run speed to 45-50% and maybe improve the graphic of the horse as you climb up the tree it would give a big boon to the agility line.

Damage on lance dot is doubled..</p><p>With Mount.. Joust double attack (one less damage and 2nd larger damage..) reduced to just 1 large damage. The lesser damage is a bonus for using mount.. </p><p>With mount, higher ground offers added resist against being knocked back.</p><p>You are correct about trample that nolonger needs the mount..  It worked before even without mount but at 18% or mounted at 36% but after the change, it's now 40% with or without mount so it's great now.</p><p>Bottomline, mount itself offers some damage bonus for using those two CA's (Joust and Lance) and *very* marginal bonus to defense against knockback. So, don't assume that mount benefit on AGI is completely removed.. At least, it's an option that you can go with or without for using AGI line tho and won't see much of a difference..</p>

But, does the TYPE of mount matter?  If I'm on a Warg, do I get the mount advantages?

I still don't have carpet to test it out. Before the AGI revamp, carpet didn't work at all and there was only horses and carpets as mounts in game that time. Lot of new mounts were added and I haven't tested on any but horses.. I wouldn't be surprised that warg, rhino etc are functional as mounts for AGI..

<p>ANSWER: Wargs *do* count as "horses" as far as the AGI line is concerned, at least for Joust.</p><p>A few days ago I purchased a Warg and tested it out - I still get the two separate hits.</p>
