Ok, i am a wizard, i solo or duo pvp, i never Group or raid pvp, NEVER!

My question, What are warlocks like in at Solo andd duo PVP, how do they compair to wizards?

I can see how many useful spells warlocks get, and anyone can see warlocks get better aa lines for pvp, I'm interested in betraying to try a warlock, not because i dont like the wizard, i'm actually quite a skilled pvp wizard, but to me warlocks seem the more powerful overall, more constant damage, better pvp tricks, harder to interupt and counter, but i dont know, this is why i'm asking.

How do warlocks compair to wizards?

Well, I don't play PvP and I don't have much knowledge on Wizards, but I know very much on solo Warlocks, so I can give you a bit of insight on the class.

Warlocks and Wizards both have the Manashield line and the quick-casting line/crit line/damage line, so there's no clear advantage. What we do have, however, is our buffs and the EoF lines. You say that Warlocks are harder to interrupt than Wizards, and that's true because instead of the STR/INT buff, we have a buff to our casting skills. We have our own Mana Boon, although I've felt that the power given back to us is pretty negligible. We have Null Carress (level 55), in which we teleport and slow down players within our immediate radius. We also have a daze that can last over three seconds to stop that auto-attack (wizards have a stifle?). We have plenty of weapons to protect ourselves in the PvP world.

However, where we really shine is the EoF lines. We have focused casting, which reduces our cast times and gives us a great final ability in which we are immune to interrupts and we cast twice as fast. We have a replenishing ward to Magi's Shielding which is indispensible. We have Propogations, which can set off loads of procs in our disposal. Our EoF lines make Warlocks excellent in handling survival situations.

I am going to recommend you a guide that I made for all the warlocks who care more about survival than blasting DPS. It's in its very early stages (as in I have to edit a lot of things here, note: Aftershocks = not for you), but what I have should answer a lot of questions that you have, and I will happily answer any new questions that it raises.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=402602

You're making a good choice, picking the Warlock. It will pay out for you at the end.
