I'm sitting here, looking at the two handed staff from the Jinisk faction merchant in Kunzar jungle....and I think to myself: "at this point how much longer should I worry about a dmg proc over these superior items?".So that is the issue, at level 80, with maxed faction with every faction in RoK (save the Dwarves in Jarsath), how much longer should I hold on to stuff like the Griz wand, and the Mystical orb earring (both proc 500ish dmg on a hostile spell, can't recall the chance to occur). With so many items with superior INT, +spell dmg, + crit, etc, is it really worth holding on to an inferior item just for the proc?A good example is the belt you can buy off the Sel'Nok brigade faction merch, it has sorcerous alac2 (2% cast speed reduction on all hostile spells) and +85 spell dmg and I believe 36 INT, compare this to the bone clasped girdle, which has 20 INT, no spell dmg, but has it's 10% chance to proc 321-561 ish dmg.I really need an idea of where to draw the line and let go of these dmg proc items, and start worrying about + spell dmg and + crit. But if these procs really do make up a portion of the parse that + to spell dmg won't exceed then I guess I'm suck with the damned things (I never parse my own dps, and when others post a parse, obviously it doesn't tell me how much the dmg procs factor in).So anyone with more insight into the situation that can give me the facts/opinions?If I drop the BCG and the Griz wand I can get about +450ish spell dmg atm with the crap I've gotten so far, makes it seem like a clear choice, but I don't know.
