Anywho, so I'm wondering if there are any specific quests (or instances/dungeons/raids) I should make it a point to run for weapons. I've been looking around some, and haven't really seen anything about T8 brig weapons.

CoA for the Nathsar Shortsword (Legendary) and the Carotidcutter (Fabled) and both drop off the last named in the instance.

Anaphalaxis reward is quite nice as well, even though it was nerfed to legendary. Grab the Arasai's quest outside Vault of eternal sleep (howling stones). His next quest takes you into Maiden's Chamber, which is another instance off howling stones.

I'm using Anaphalaxis and an axe I got as a quest reward in Kylong jungle. They are both long delay weaopns and compliment each other well. They are the easiest things to get your hands on if you are having bad luck in instance runs.

Well I'm not exactly hurting for weapons atm, but will be needing an upgrade soon. i'm currently using Infirmity and the Dark Linger. I really like the procs on both but they're both more suited for high 60s low 70s.Looks like my best bet is to wait until I move over to KJ and just quest for weapons.

You need to get weapons with 4.0 sec delays to maximize the crits and thus up your dps. Some of the 72 mastercrafted weapons are better than what you are carrying right now.

Long delay weapons do nothing for crits, it increases procs.. I.e. adorments, proc buffs, poisons and weapon procs.

Really? I looked at the 72 MC stuff and the damage spread looked to be smaller, overall damage rating I think was a tad higher, but after I looked at the procs/stats I determined the two I had were better.

There's no "really?" about it, some people simply remain ignorant of how critical hits work. You were smart to keep your weapons, I'd imagine.

He just didn't express it clearly would be my guess.

Alright the frogloks in the jungle have a questline for venrils phylactery, the weapon from that is the only one I'm using since I'm STR AGI and enough Wis to have 73% double attack.

http://lootdb.com/eq2/item/-135129084 Reet Crafted Scale Biter. Hard quest line to do for new 80s, but fun. 93.3 dps 3.5 seconds
