an age old question

Hi All,Before I get flamed for asking an old question I did try look this up but things have changed a lot.Basically I have just returned to eq2 after 2 years away and I played a necro up to 58, my play style has changed significantly I can't group as much as I would like and when I do I am always having to leave the keyboard every so often kids, wife etc you know the drill.Anyway I decided in order to see more content it might be an idea to 2-box a conjurer with my necro. I read as many threads as I could it sounds like a very powerful duo. I already remember my necro was extremely powerful back when I played. Now the questions are:1. With the new AA's available which character would have the better tank pet, necro or conjurer (thinking necro once they have tainted heals)2. What is the lowest level character that can be mentored (planning to mentor the conjurer with my necro so I can gain some AA's and see some more lower level content)I am in no hurry to blaze through the levels I just want to enjoy the ride, see and do as much as possible and hopefully get my necro some aa's while levelling the conjurer.Thanks in advance

Imo, the conj still has the superior pet even after the necro gets tainted heals, seems to hold aggro better really does if you spec right in the summoner tree.  As far as I know you can mentor any lvl.

 i found as a conj and having all the pet benefits maxed def, offense, % atk % hp ect got it  semi easy out side of ROK but !! if you decide to do ROK at 64+ can do it lower level like 60-61 but can't do any quests there til 64 when it rok  level to level  say your 63 and the mob is 63 bugger is gonna give you a hellva run for the money  best way i could explain is there like solo mobswith abilitys  and damage of a heroics, if you plan on soloing any where at this point i say  focus on aa's  for the pet ,, other wise go the way of the spell line,, as for mentoring i've go down as far as lvl 10 so far to go back do all the quest and see the content in the 20's lvl zone in rok gotta say lotta nice item for level !! 1 is a easy 45 sec quest getting a griffen back to the owner reward is a clicky summon pet every 5-15 min another is 1+ incombat regain armor  rest are all along these lines  better then normal gear for level i think i seen lvl 11 gloves with 5 sta 6 int for casters it was almsot same stats as lvl 30 gloves zone is 1-20  keep your self busy there for a looong time ..

conj pet will hold agro better but... conj mage pet is far superior dps wise to a necro mage pet. stuff will drop faster with conj pet dpsing and necro pet tanking
