Its outdated again, I don't understand, don't they have a save method for every 5 min or something like that? how can players info be outdated and have to be manually changed? eq2 players is outdated again on my character, is this service like this in AB since the server started?

Before that such issues did occur but were fairly rare, while they seem to have been quite widespread since RoK.

Well thats good news, they might be working on it since it started after RoK, keepin track of your character progress and comaring to your server/class is really a great addition to a MMORPG.

lol. Oh, they are definitely working on it. Like Lantis already said, there were some issues before, but they were rare compared to the flood of updating problems since RoK. Ideally, the site updates your character once every 24 hours.

As a guild leader I find eq2players a good tool to check on any potential recruits, but not any longer.. i've had level 20 toons ding in, and they don't show on eq2players at all.I personally have two characters (on two accounts) created 2-3 weeks ago, that are level 20ish, and they don't show up on eq2players at all, even in my character list when i log in.. makes logging in on the webchat as them a might difficult too, since it insists they are not part of the guild.. several other guild members have encountered the same issues.What i would like is some feedback from the website devs on the status of this issue, and what measures they are taking and a time scale for the fix? In the past it used to update far more often than it does now, we used to be able to search on level 1-2 characters that had been created and they used to show up.Ok, one more request, can you get the online guild roster working correctly, it still shows people who left the game and we've removed from the guild, and can we please have our pre-RoK fields back in the xml download?

For the xml fields, you aren't the only one trying to get those back. Just about everyone here is upset that they removed fields and is hoping they return. There have been a couple threads and a large number of requests. We can only hope they come to their senses on this one. As for your characters not showing up, make sure to post their name/level/server here or shoot it as a pm to gninja_gnome. The guild roster showing people who have left the game is an issue we have had for a long time. The roster is set to update when a character logs into the game. As you can see, this poses a problem if you kick or demote someone and they never log back in. It was said a while ago they were looking into a fix, but that it would be a long term thing (don't quote me on that). The possible cause behind the new recruits not showing up on a search may be that they are labeled as anonymous. An anonymous character will not show up in a search, the leaderboards, or even on your guild roster. I have had this problem as well. I really do agree in the usefulness of the site for a GL. But only if you can see those players on the site. The anonymity function where players aren't even showing up on searches and being unable to look up ANYTHING about them has severely hampered the usefulness of this website. Most of the time, people only need to hide when they are doing something shady. The exception would be pvp, but if the gear page and all other vital statistics were on separate pages, they could have made both parties fairly happy. As it is, pvp'ers are somewhat happy, except those of them like us, who are trying to help head up a guild. The majority of everyone else that USES the website is NOT happy. They are infuriating the majority of the people who use and pay for this site. I can understand wanting to hide your character info as a matter of privacy, but this is an MMO. What guild you are in, what your bio says, when you made your character, how much status you have in your guild, playtime. . . all these things help officers to learn what type of player you may be inviting into your guild. From a recruiting standpoint the website is possibly invalidated as a useful tool.

- My guild rank (Lantis Greyluck, on AB) which was changed on Feb 9th hasn't been updated on EQ2Players yet- None of the members of the Legion of Truthseekers (on AB) have been updated since around Feb 9th. Looking at the Rostermaster log, it seems that on average, people from this guild get updated on EQ2players only every three days - then everyone updates in one batch. I know that quite a few of these people do log and play on a daily basis. If you want to check the frequency of their updates to help you track the issues down, you can access the log there:<a href="http://www.lostrealm.ca/eq2/rm/index.php?rm=rm_logfile&rm_logpage=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.lostrealm.ca/eq2/rm/inde...mp;rm_logpage=1</a>The "Updated local cached data" event means that Rostermaster connected to EQ2Players to update itself, on the specified date and time, with update/changes logged right after that, all date-stamped.

Lantis can you give me some examples of which characters in your guild are not updating? I can't verify that the info is correct on Roster Master as that is not an application we support. We can only verify that the info on EQ2Players as well as the info in the XML feeds are accurate.Gunnulf, I cannot verify your data is incorrect without you making your profile viewable.

I am having the same issue. Vulkoor on Antonia Bayle.My sig/character page is 12 days behind, showing me lvl 64 when I am 69 and I have since joined a guild as well, which is doesn't show (The Necronomicon). My items seem to be updating, but not my char info.

I have 7 characters in kithicor server. None have been updated since 3/02/08. One character bugeater is lvl 20 and in guild Soul Garden. Still shows lvl 13 no guild.

Since this week's update I haven't got any characters showing on the right side of the Launchpad. Is that just me or a general problem? They appear on the drop-down list, just not on the right-hand display.

Still having problems here!Maybe someone could help with setting some expectations, is the intent that the database updates at least once a day?I made a new character on the Antonia Bayle server, named Dethplate a SK, he was made 3-4-08. As of 3-7-08, at 7:15 AM, CST, he does not appear in my eq2players account or via a search.Should he be there by now?My son has a toon on AB also, named Khola, he dinged L73 on Feb 23rd., the history page shows the date of the ding, but his main page says he's L72.Please let us know what to expect.Thanks,SlowdethhAP/AB

Wondering why my server/world disco's have been erased since i xferred to Kithicor. It was like that before but then it got fixed and showed all of my discoveries. Now it's not showing them again cept the 2 i have on Kithicor. Would like to see what i have disco'd. Also any way to get the total deaths back when my char was created back at launch?

Hey Xede, someone had this problem a little while back a couple times (if it was you, my apologies). But you may want to take a look at thread to see what the result was. I know they also had the issue fixed at least once. This may be a matter of sending gninja a pm to see what he can do. All server related stats should disappear, however (including discos). Not my idea, just how they are working it (or were, the last I checked).

I had hopes that this was fixed finally. Went two whole days with my character being updated within 24-hours ... not exactly "real-time", but certainly better ... back to over 2 days since it's been updated now (sigh). I log-in to all my characters almost every day and I can't think of the last time I didn't log into at least one of them daily. I appreciate Gninja_Gnome's replies ... not trying to kill the messenger here <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ... but it sure would be nice to know some specifics on what the problem is and what our expectations can be for a solution. This is like selling a new car that you know won't turn on ...

I did play yesterday, April 7th, for manyhours and EQ2 Players is showing that I dinged to level 79, but only on the Character Profile page. If you look at Rankings/History it shows my level as 78 still, first time for that happening. Also, my gear has not updated as of this posting.If there were some guidance as to expectations for updates that would help a lot. If we knew that the data was pulled at 2:00 AM pst, and that it took <blank> number of hours for the data to be converted for the eq2players website, that might help. LOL I would rather my characters not show up then not being able to access the guild chat feature.... It's worked before now all of a sudden its error (303) not even a full error script because Ok and Cancel are called undefined

I'm also paying for all the services, and I just resubscribed the other day. I deleted most of my old lv 2-5 characters and made a new one. Aye, it's updating very rarely. Though I believe guild information and character info was updated June 12th, because I checked that. My main was up to date, and the new members of my guild on Nagafen, who joined the guild on the 12th, were included on the list of members. However, it seems to take forever to get those new characters to show up. That's why I was checking this in the first place, because I created a new one ages ago... and she never seems to make it into EQ2 Players. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/2e207fad049d4d292f60607f80f05768.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

EQ2players has always updated randomly (as far as I can see) and has been known to take over 3 days. Usually it is around the 24 hr period, I don't know why it takes so long the other times :-/I had that undefined error thing happen to me in the guild chat option too, but cookie deletion seems to fix it in my case.

My profile is not updating at all, I had my first char on unrest server it showed it fine then, I switched to the Antonia Bayle Server, that character is not being shown on EQ2 Players website. It has been over two weeks. It is also not being shown on the game startup screen where you see your chars listed on the right side, it does list it on the left side dropdown box and when i go on the server to choose my char and server to play on. but now I have deleted my first char from the unrest server so no char is being shown on the EQ2 players website for my login. Another Antonia Bayler here - none of my characters have updated for well over a week, and over a dozen members of my guild that have recently joined with brand new characters dont appear either - depsite the characters being played daily for quite a while. Any eta on a fix for this? I know these things take time - but right now we are all paying for a service we arent receiving.

This data replication issue is getting old.My characters haven't updated either since the 19th. Confirmed with both Lantis and Narski (both on Antonia Bayle). I have played Lantis on a daily basis since then, but last played date still says the 19th according to EQ2Players.And judging from the RosterMaster logs here, nobody in my guild (Soulforged) has been updated since June 21st. According to same logs, not a single character has been updated between the 15th and 20th either, despite polling EQ2Players twice per day during that period. Before that, no update between the 12th and the 9th. So basically in the past three weeks, guild members have been updated on these dates:- June 21st- June 14th- June 13th- June 8th

This issue is really concerning given the upcoming guild fair. If someone if interested in joining a guild and actually wants to do a little research on a guild, they can not even see somewhat up to date information. Isn't it great to pay extra for some of these eq2players services and not really get any service?I just took over a guild more than a week ago (Nexus on the Bazaar), have applied to get it listed in the guild fair to up recruiting (plus it seems like a cool event), but the guild website through eq2players still hasnt been updated to recognize me as leader to allow me to actually make some changes to the website.Guess the best solution is to use a 3rd party guild website. Thats very disappointing given all the focus on community this summer through all the Legacy events.

What's sad is my EQ1 characters update almost like clockwork at 5AM my time the morning after I've played, yet EQ2, you almost have to beg for an update... for instance, the character in my board sig hit 45 almost two weeks ago, yet where's the update? I'm on The Bazaar" and have done several tech support requests for my characters; the same thing happens every time. A customer service rep, who has no idea of what to do, come up asking the same meaningless questions, followed by an email asking for the same basic account information (even though my username is attached to the request), it gets escalated to the real tech folks who only go in and manually update my account. The problem is not being resolved, only bandaged over until the data becomes outdated again and I have to do another tech support request. I wonder if this can be resolved with a class action suit regarding failure of service... the EQ2Player access is an additional charge, but they tend to treat it as an optional item for maintenance. <img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/1069449046bcd664c21db15b1dfedaee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Also have a toon missing from my line up (was 3 last night until I logged on 2 of them so will probably log on the last one to get him registered...again)...Now I just need to hope that I haven't deleted the off-line copies of their pics.

The service needs to be free until it works like what is advertised. Logging in everyday and being told the last time I played was August 10th, unacceptable. Perfectly all right if this wasn't a subscription service that provides leaderboards and rankings, but because people pay (even if it is only 2.99 for everything) then it needs to work as intended. Noone pays 2.99 for a months rankings to show and not have rankings updated for 2 weeks of the subscription period. If its not intended to update daily, or instantly, or whatever, then it needs to be stated as such. And don't give me some line about how the system is broken or SOE knows there's a problem and are trying to figure it out, because they just annonuced the partnership with Zam.com and all the automatic dynamic data the game can provide and how people can get text messages when items go up for sale on the broker instantly. If the game has the ability to provide that information in real time, then eq2players data should be cake. Man up, and get this thing working. ***edit to add commentThe leaderboards seem to get updated nearly every day, maybe every 18-20 hours...but if the individual player data doesnt get updated, then the leaderboard updating doesnt matter. Get the players updated in real time, or daily, and then let the leaderboard daily updates do their thing. People will appreciate it and generations of children will cheer your name!

He sent me a private message saying to use the proper channels and I replied to him only to get more silence.I have come the the conclusion that have stopped supporting this and figure that if they don't say anything for long enough then we will simply stop asking. It seems that the AB server has quite the issue here, with no one getting updated on the site. I had petitioned either at the tail end of November or the first few days into December, about this very thing. I got an email back, stating that they were escalating my ticket to tech support, because part of my complaint was that you can't contact anyone that handles the website directly. I am pretty sure that the problem stems from the fact that Antonia Bayle was moved to it's own server, because of the high population. Anyway, it was about a week after my complaint that the whole of the Antonia Bayle server was updated on EQ2 players. And it hasn't been updated since. I've written 4 or 5 petitions now, and now the response is simply that it's been escalated to tech support, and I hear nothing after that, other then "we haven't heard from you in the 72 hour time frame, and we are going to close your ticket, because it must have been fixed. At least that first petition, the tech support team contacted me back, and told me that it would be fixed within a few days, and it was.....this is starting to feel like "Take their money and Run." This issue can't be that hard to fix. Even with AB on it's own machine.

My current character is a 61 Fury and the leader of a guild that was created a month ago. That character through 61 levels and the entire guild is void as of this date. It's now been another month since my profile was last updated. What the hell is going on SOE? And why the hell has no dev replied to this crap? This is ridiculous. This is a horrible display of bad business practices. You have paying customers and are rendering NO SERVICES for their payments. You are STEALING from your customers. This is an easy fix. I'm not paying for eq2players, nor am I about to.I just returned about a month ago and pretty much deleted all of my old "alts" and decided to take a single class as a main with a single boredom alt. I have an Inquisitor and a Dirge now, but you wouldn't know that by looking at the profile. Sort of been browsing this thread and it appears that it is just one of those issues that gets overlooked on purpose.On a slightly different (but same in principle) note, I've had a few in game problems that I reported and received absolutely zero response or resolution to.What gives, Sony?

I am very disappointed in a company that has to be told by its player base for months that something is wrong and nothing is done to correct it. It is also illegal to charge peoples credit card accounts for said service and not deliver the goods. People pay about $3 more for the access to eq2players for things like best of the best melee hit. I would very much like a refund. I think everyone who reads this needs to contact customer service and demand a refund for the full amount they have been charged for the service since it has been broken. I know sony is busy trying to figure out more ways to leech money from its player base, but at least deliver on the current service for the current charge.

The best way to report your issues found with the EQ2Players website is to post them here. I read through these forums daily and if I am able to find the cause of the issue, it will be bugged and reported. So the more information that you include in your post the easier it is for me to find the cause of the bug. J If you have any other questions please feel free to ask

My characters haven't been updated for over two weeks.My main is Terron on Splitpaw. I have played him most days but it shows the last time played as March 11, 2009None of my alts is more up to date though I have played each since then.

It has been months since this issue was reported. I have reported it online in game at the end of February. It is now a good start into april with no fix in sight. Sony is pushing for updates on station cash items and has no interest at all in fixing the issues with station players. I have asked and have been given a refund for one month even though this issue has gone on for MONTHS. I suggest everyone else ask for a refund and cancel the subscription to eq2 players until the problems associated with it are addressed. $3 a person a month may not sound like much, but considering the regular service to the game is $15.00, if enough people were to quit their eqplayers it would hurt Sony in the wallet and then maybe they would listen. Customer service is non existant with this company. "Escalation" in game has proven fruitless, so I am asking my fellow players to quit paying for broken content. It seems the only way to get something fixed is to smack Sony square in the face and demand a fix.

I am a big fan of SOE..have been for 9 years now. I finally just got so sick of never seeing an update on EQ2 Players that I finally just canceled it. I used it for so many things..leaderboards...AA setups...checking on prospective guild members, but just could no longer stand spending money on something that never was kept up to date.

I wonder if all this Zam data stuff is anything to do with the eq2players.com problems. Of course that calls into question whether this problem could have been predicted and avoided or announced in advance. Might even be worth it if it wasn't for the fact that only the US servers are supported by Zam.

Like most of you, I'm getting frustrated with the service as well.Quest count gets updated, Deaths gets updated, but high melee hit is stuck at a number that I did two years ago. 35,010 on my assassin (Najena). Several times I've seen on my parse 38k plus and still hasn't updated.Come on Sony. We are paying for this service, please get it working correctly.

My stats haven't updated on Crushbone either, but with the Crushbone server being as it is I'm not too surpised.I don't supposed I could get a response to losing all of my stats from the past 5 years when I transfered servers about 5 months ago, the problem that I posted in the "Current EQ2 Station Player Website Issues" thread? A couple years ago I transfered from one server to another I kept them, so I don't see why I have lost them now. Now I am unable to get some of the in game achievements because of this.Maybe if I post this in enough threads I will get help <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
